Heard about this place on social media so I went here with my colleague during lunch. For everyone’s awareness, this is a food truck. I ordered the Beef and Chicken Shawarma Bowl which comes with Pilaf Rice, Pita, Tabouleh, Whipped Hummus, Beef and Chicken. Also a drizzle of white sauce and red sauce on the side. The meat tasted really flavorful, the rice was nice and fluffy. I really liked how the hummus came whipped and the texture was great. Really amazing food but unfortunately in my personal opinion, the food is overpriced for how much quantity you recieve. I know its 2026 and inflation is high but as a customer I would be looking to pay between $13-$16 to come back instead of $19. If you’re ok with the price, really great food!

The best shawarma in San Diego! It’s also recommended by YouTube as the top spot here! The Wagyu beef is absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy! If you want to try Mediterranean food, this place is an absolute must-visit!

The California Chicken Shawarma wrap was great. Nice flavors and great service from the staff.
There wasn’t a place to eat the food really so we ended up eating in the car.

Their location in La Mesa has the best seasoned chicken Shawarma I’ve ever had, and I have eaten at many Middle Eastern restaurants. The tabuleh is delicious and the hummus is so authemtic. The managers (or owners?) Are super friendly and cater to your every need. My friend had the California burrito and it knocked her socks off! I absolutely love this place. ❤️

It was our first time here and Janelle was a lively. Her conviction was so high for the Fries Lemon Cream Chop that we had to get it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the white meat chicken battered was on point. Also got the Wagyu beef wrap, it was also on
P.s get the gravy of the fries on the side.

I got the vegan shwarma which id definitely get again, but didnt taste any of the garlic paste or pickles in my pita ($16) I liked how crispy and flavorful the fake meat was as well. Wish there was one picnic table but since its takeout only, walked over to the dog park

Really good Middle East food from this hidden gem in South Park. Even this has been well advertised from yelp but we haven’t tried it yet.
Overall, their food blow my expectation and the wagyu beef was tender and everything else is well seasoned. Even the sauce was nice.
Come and try it

One of the best places to get shawarma in San Diego! Both beef and chicken are tender, juicy and well seasoned. Fries and rice are outstanding. The shawarma plate also comes with creamy hummus that tastes homemade, and a side of fresh tabbouleh. Definitely recommend

Had to visit and see what all the hype was about. Ordered the Wagyu Beef Egg Rolls, plate and pita along with Falafel pita. Everything was super tasty and service was friendly and quick. To be honest though, the Wagyu beef tasted like regular beef….but still good none the less. Although they dont sell drinks, they’re conveniently located beside a liquor store that also sells non alcoholic drinks. Enjoy.
