An amazing hole in the wall with authentic Filipino food! Everything tasted great, especially the sausage and adobo chicken. This place is a no brainer when it comes to trying out Filipino cuisine. I’ll def be coming back to try out more dishes.

Our Go-To Spot for Authentic Filipino Ulam — Jojo’s Sisig Is the Best!

South Sea Filipino Restaurant has become our go-to place for Filipino food — we buy ulam from them almost every week, and they never disappoint! The quality, taste, and consistency of their dishes are top-notch. Even though we usually do takeout, the food always feels like a home-cooked meal, full of warmth and flavor.

Our absolute favorites are Jojo’s Sisig and the Bicol Express — both are incredibly delicious and packed with authentic Filipino flavor. The sisig is crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned, while the Bicol Express is rich, creamy, and has just the right amount of spice. We always make sure to include these in our order!

We’ve also tried their adobo, sinigang, and various desserts like taho, bibingka, and leche flan — all are amazing and taste just like how they’re made back home.

We haven’t dined in yet, but it’s great to know they offer that option too. The staff is friendly, and service is always fast and reliable.

If you’re looking for authentic Filipino food that tastes homemade and hits the spot every single time, South Sea is the place to go. Highly recommended — especially Jojo’s Sisig!

We were looking for a Filipino restaurant around the area and ran into this restaurant. Me and my family tried different entrees and they did not disappoint! We originally went there for lunch and went back again for dinner to try more food. They were very generous with the portions. We went on the weekend and discovered their variety of desserts such as Leche Flan, Sans Rival, banana bread and Taho. Their Taho is the best I’ve had here since leaving the Philippines. We have found our new favorite local place!

This review is more a reflection of the service than the food. I wanted to try some different Ethnic food and the burbs are very vanilla and bland. Googled Filipino food near me and this place came up. I have almost no experience with Filipino food. Couldn’t find the menu online so I called them for it. Spoke to a very nice older man who offered to text it. I received the text and went to the restaurant. There were no pics on the menu so I could not identify the dishes based on the menu. I explained that I am pescatarian and looking for veggie based or seafood based dishes. The girl at the counter was annoyed. She was uninterested in explaining the dishes. Gave one word answers to what items were. A nice gentleman customer who’d already ordered before me stepped in and went through and showed me what I could eat and what was not safe. Like why didn’t the worker do that? It was not crowded. I was not holding up the line. Example: there was a section of dumpling or bead looking items. I asked the girl what they were she gave the answer “Desserts”. Nothing more, nothing less. No names of the desserts or what was in them. I was disappointed at the treatment and lack of service. In any normal restaurant, if you have questions about the menu, the wait staff takes the time to inform you. It’s just customary. Maybe it was an off day for her, but I suspect not. Might just be her personality, IDK. I will make a point to say that she made a point to tell the man that helped me his total in Tagalog when neither he nor she had a problem speaking English. Definitely gave off the you aren’t welcome here vibe. I brought a few items and they were good, but if I try Filipino food again, it won’t be from here.
