Had breakfast there (ends at 10am!) and really enjoyed their food, portions, and prices. I think the atmosphere would vary based on season, mosquitoes (for outdoor seating), and sunsrise/sunset…glad it was affordable but having a friendly server instead of ordering at the counter would change the vibe. Very happy though! It’s pretty new since the old one was destroyed awhile back.

This is an excellent little restaurant at the new lodge. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While they are open, they stop serving breakfast at 10 and start lunch at 11; you are welcome to wait at a table until they start serving the next meal. Order at the counter and they will bring it to your table; there are indoor and outdoor seats. Prices are a little high, but fair for the remoteness of the lodge. I had the empanadas of the day for lunch and the mahi-mahi sandwich for dinner. Both were very good and portions were sized right. Full liquor bar with a wide range of beers and liquors.

Food was tasty. Ideal location to have some good food after kayaking.
We had thanksgiving dinner, soup and deviled eggs. Everything tasted awesome especially we were very tired after 4hr kayaking. Young guy at the counter was very warm and welcoming.

I went with my 77-year-old handicapped mother. To get to the front door of the restaurant we saw two options; there are some steep stairs or a very long ramp. She chose to battle the stairs rather than walk the long distance of the ramp. We got up the stairs and into the front doors and saw an elevator. There was no sign to tell anyone there is an elevator hidden under the stairs. After all that, it took more than a half hour to get a grilled cheese sandwich and french fries, so don’t go if you’re in a rush. The sandwich was decent and fries were good.

The food is decent but not amazing by any means. The chips in my nachos were stale. But the staff was very nice. They have bar service and board games you can play there like sorry, monopoly, scrabble, etc. Clean.

-Cute restaurant in the Everglades…
-Set up is a little unique where they had tables out for sit in but you were given a menu and told to then order at the checkout area like fast food…
-not enough workers as you had to wait a hot second to order and other staff just stood at the bar waiting for a customer to order something alcohol
– food was pretty good!
I ordered the chicken sandwich and nacho tacos.. 10/10
***Food was overpriced though…

We visited for dinner (Wed) and lunch (Thr) in late December 2024. The faciality looks very new and modern. The waitress was very nice but also a bit strange when taking our order for dinner. We were staying over in the houseboat with a full kitchen but we just wanted to supplement our dinner and try something extra.
After looking at the menu and the prices, we decided we’d just grab some soup for take out. We tried to order Conch Chowder that is printed on their menu but she said they didn’t have any but had clam chowder instead. We order 3 of those and a Chicken Tortilla soup.
When we ordered it the waitress also said that it could take awhile for our order to be ready. We were very confused because it was just 4 “bowls” of soup… were they making it from scratch?
She handed us a number and said she would bring it out to us. So we took a seat. Not surprisingly, it didn’t take very long before she stepped out of the kitchen with our soup, plated to be dine-in. She apologized and said she would go and repackage it for to-go order.
Both soups were very meh. Not worth the price at all. Would not order again.
The next day we did the backcountry boat tour and decided to get lunch before we headed out of the park. So we stopped by because it was really our only option and ordered:
– Mahi-Mahi Wrap with Plantain chips (very good)
– Mahi-Mahi Sandwich with Fries (good; small fish fillet)
– Cubano Sandwich with Fries (very good)
– Cheeseburger with Fries (good; kid ate it all)
– Chicken Tender with Fries (good; kid ate it all)
– Smoked Fish Dip (okay; not bad but wasn’t worth price)
Overall the lunch food wasn’t bad and it took a reasonable amount of time to be made. The price was very steep but when there is only really one option around, you can charge almost whatever you want. While I wouldn’t come back here if this restaurant was located anywhere else, because it is the only option here in Flamingo you don’t got a choice. We would probably eat here again for the sake of convenience if we were staying in Flamingo.
On the plus side. The views and facilities themselves were amazing. There was also outside seating and the place was decorated for the holiday season. So kudos there.

Thank goodness there’s finally a place to eat, recuperate, and relax a bit. Food was good, service was fast, beer was cold; not much else you need.
Had a wide variety of food options on the menu. A few beers on tap and others bottled. I spied a cabinet with board games and such.

This is the only restaurant at the end of Everglades National Park, over an hour away from the main entrance. After a long hike, we stopped for lunch and the meal was great. It’s a counter order style, but the food is brought to your table. The staff was very friendly.

Being the only dining option far and wide.. Flamingo restaurant/bar is not bad at all. Honestly, it’s a pleasure to have some fair meal and well chilled draft beer in this extraordinary place. They do serve a breakfast for the guests of the lodge and they can also cook your own catch. Cool!
