We stopped in on a cold winter morning, and instantly we noticed how clean, well-decorated, and welcoming the atmosphere is. The staff work well with one another and genuinely care and communicate with one another. This made the flow of the service nice and seamless. The food was great and tasted amazing. You really get your money’s worth at Main Street Restaurant.

The food was good. I got a patty melt with fries. The melt was great but the fries were lacking. The employees were all lovely. The main downside is that they only take cash and check. It also didn’t appear to have a sign outside indicating that before you walk in.

We had two main issues: 1 – they don’t take debit/credit card and that wasn’t well communicated ahead of time. 2 – they don’t allow food sharing and made us order a full meal for our 18 month old which was almost completely wasted.
Food was fine, standard breakfast diner food. Waitress was nice enough. I would not recommend this place if you have young children who can’t eat a full sized breakfast.

Finally tried this place as it looked like a nice old school diner. Service was very good food was another story. Breakfast food was decent but hash browns were tasteless. Turkey ruben was absolutely terrible, the worst we have ever eaten. Almost no meat, no sauerkraut – wasn’t worth 5.00 let alone the price they charge. Soup was overly salty also. Much improvement is needed here. Will not return.

Great place to eat with very big servings. You will not leave here hungry. Had 7 tables in front of us and only waited 15 minutes to receive our food. Half of the plate was hashbrowns!!

Big servings but very bland food (only cheese on my omelet was a slice of american cheese on the top) Dont take cards and dont have it posted anywhere notifying you of this, you find out when its time to pay its cash or check only. Had to walk almost a block away to go to an atm. Service was mediocre at best (waitress seemed very frazzled even though it wasnt very busy and she wasnt the only one working).

Food was absolutely awful. Hash browns were undercooked in the middle. I got the mushroom and cheese omelette and it was just a couple slices of American cheese which created a gross texture. The mushrooms were canned. I don’t think there’s a single fresh ingredient on the menu.

I was fortunate enough to be told ahead of time by a relative that this was cash only, but I saw no signs indicating it and no employee mentioned it. I suppose that’s fine for the regulars, but I’m surprised that a cafe on main street in a tourist town doesn’t give any indication for the out of towners that they need cash.
