You must try the Mitti Chulha special Rasmalai for a special dessert treat!
My only complaint is that the menu should be more descriptive for those of us who are not well versed in Indian cuisine. The menu does not describe the dish ingredients and how it is prepared like a typical menu would. Also, the wait person we had was not able to answer our questions about the food.
Prices were very reasonable.
We will be back but we will study the menu this time and ask chat GPT more information about the various dishes.
Both veg as well as non-veg food is great here.
Another appreciating point is we don’t need to give tip here as we have tried giving it before but owner thanked us and happily returned our tip. It was really icing on top after having great food. It reflects they value their customers and their staff. Wishing them lots of success.
P.S: We have to travel ~45-50 mins to reach but it’s worth it. We always look forward to eating here and bring our friends too for experiencing amazing food and service ♥️
I ordered the veg Manchow soup and a dosa, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The soup had the perfect balance of flavors—warm, slightly spicy, and comforting. The dosa was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. The chutneys and sambar that came with it were fresh and complemented the dosa perfectly. The sambar especially had a rich, tangy taste that I really enjoyed.
The only downside, and I hope the management takes note of this, was the service. My server seemed more interested in his phone than attending to the customers. He was busy calling, browsing, and not really paying attention to the tables. It took me around 10-15 minutes just to get his attention when I needed some more sambar. That was a bit frustrating, especially since the place wasn’t even too crowded.
That being said, the food totally made up for it. I’d definitely go back for the amazing taste and lovely atmosphere. Hopefully, the service improves because this place has great potential. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and craving some tasty Indian food!
The curries were sweet but didn’t have much flavor. We were told the cheese naan had Amul cheese, but it turned out to be filled with what looked like cream cheese.
The whole restaurant was run by just two people who were busy looking at their phones and doing whatever they were doing. We had to call them out several times to get their attention.
There are much better food and service options nearby. I won’t be coming back.
Also word of caution: none of the take away containers they provide are microwave safe.
