Jacob’s Pickles did not disappoint! I ordered the mushroom gravy smothered chicken with biscuits and grits and it was so good. The portions were huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. We also tried the smash burger, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to go back!

Julian was the best waiter! I sat at the bar and was overlooked and he passed by and assisted immediately! He took great care of me and checked on me often! Thanks for your efficient and effective service! My smash burger was divine !!

We were looking for a place to have an early dinner and were we surprised. By far one of the best restaurants we have been to. To start they have a flight of PICKLES and veggies. Oh my…. Never had that before on it was amazing. My wife had challah french toast topped with fried chicken, to die for.. and I had short ribs, fantastic.. the mashed potatoes were perfect. To end our wonderful dining experience we shared an oreo cookie icebox cake. WOW. Can’t wait to return for more.

Finally made it to try this place out. I have been missing out!!! This place is FANTASTIC!!! The food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and patient with me and my family. Miss Pam our waitress was so friendly and attentive to us and helped keep our kids happy and content. The atmosphere is simple, clean and welcoming. Not only was the quality of the food spectacular, the portions are huge! As well as being very reasonably priced. I CAN NOT wait to make another visit to this location!!! The deviled eggs are a must!!! And obviously the pickles are fantastic! I was surprised at how good their biscuits and beer were as well. Make sure to ask for Pam!! We will definitely be repeat customers!!!

I’ve been here multiple times now, and have yet to be disappointed. The food, the service, everything is spectacular. I came here for my birthday dinner, and Julian was our server. He was probably the best server I’ve ever had. Super attentive and so kind, made sure that my bday dinner was even more awesome. 10/10 will be back again! Ps- the hot honey chicken French toast is a MUST (same with the carrots)

When I say the food blew my mind, it blew MY MIND! The chicken was juicy, crispy and just perfect. The pickles, the biscuit, the mac and cheese 10000000/10 I have no words for how good this was. Then you finish with a bang and get the cookie skillet it was sooooo good. Everything was just delicious, no complaints. The portions were big so my husband and I shared dishes and it was enough for the both of us. The customer service was just okay everyone seemed annoyed and over it but the food was delicious. So I recommend!

After driving 2hrs from Rhode Island to introduce my friend to one of my favorite restaurants Sat 10/18. This visit was very disappointing I ordered my favorite dish Shrimp and grits which the shrimp was salty which has never been the case at my previous visits. The Butter milk chicken was served over cooked and luke warm as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The Mac and cheese was bland and not served In the cast iron pan as I am used to. The wait staff was polite however our waiter did not check in with us as often as I have experienced in past visits. Over all experience was not like my previous visits which I have bragged about to my friends how the 2hr drive each way was worth the trip.

Talk about an amazing experience!! Our waiter was fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The food was fantastic and I wish they would open a location in The Woodlands TX. We had the hot honey chicken and french toast, the portion was huge!! Also we had the Southern Fried Catfish and fried pickles.
I was able to meet with Stewart the manager as we left and began talking about our experience. If you are in the area stop by and eat and Stay awhile.

In its own right, the food tasted good. For a place called Jacob’s Pickles, the pickles on the chicken were delicious. The portions are BIG. If you’re looking for something tasty, this would be a good choice. If you’re from the south and are looking for real Southern food, this is not the place (speaking as someone from Western North Carolina).

The biscuits were more cakey, as you can see they are square? I thought they were cornbread at first. The seasonal butters that it came with were all pretty tasty. The sausage gravy tasted like a chowder so my brain and taste buds were kind of confused there. Catfish definitely not seasoned. Nashville hot was not Nashville hot. Not the place if you want sweet grits either. The grits come buttered and cheesed and salted. Sweet tea is also sweetened with honey. If you ask for hot sauce, it’s just the Nashville Hot or Sriracha which is an interesting choice. No true vinegar based hot sauce like Louisiana, Tobasco, or Texas Pete.

Again, most everything tasted good. Just not southern. LOVED the Mac and cheese. It was seasoned well, you could taste and appreciate different types of cheeses. That was delicious. The Oreo icebox pie thing was an amazingly decadent dessert and very big. Jumbo shrimp on the fried seafood platter were JUMBO and I loved the grits which were also well seasoned. Sweet tea had me conflicted because it tasted good, but it did feel like it was missing sugar
