We visited this specific mcds, early in the morning wanting to order food. One for mobile pickup and the other was ordered in store w a cashier. When we got the food for the in store order we sat down and waited for the mobile pickup one. We did not open the food at the restaurant!! We left and didnt eat this immediately, upon getting home for about 30mins we find a piece of hair in it and call the restaurant, the lady on the phone clearly did not care and kept asking me WHAT I WANTED HER TO DO. Crazy question, after Ive found hair thats what the — u r asking me. So I told her that I wanted a refund and Im not trying to bash her but I just need for this mcds to be inspected on their sanitary standards. This is not right and I rlly was just trynna have a good experience. Pls fix this thanks (zoom in to see pics)

I usually have positive experiences here. I come here a lot unfortunately as a busy mom. Occasional/normal mess-up’s but if you address it, they always fix it. Sophia is a great cashier, professional and very pleasant!

The McDonald’s location in Altoona, PA near the Altoona Campus (East 25th Avenue) is absolutely atrocious!!! 1. The food is always cold now. I live only 7 minutes driving diatance away from this location. Why are my chicken nuggets that should be cooked to order and extra well done always cold when I get them FRESH!? The fries are even worse!!!! Do they even cook the fries!?!? Again, I order them cooked to order and well done. But they’re always cold as ice.
The atmosphere isn’t the greatest either. Some of the employees and managers should know me as a regular by now and should know that I order 20 nuggets and a large fry. Why is it that when I say LARGE fry they automatically ring it in as a basket and even ask, “So that’s a 20 piece and a basket”? Why do I need to correct them EVERY TIME and say, “No no. I said 20 nuggets and a large fry”?
It’s even worse when I need to repeat myself 3 times because they wanna upsell the basket as being cheaper 3-5 times and I have to get angry and say, “Please take my order as I say it. 20 nuggets, large fry, no sauce, all food cooked to order and extra well done, and alarge diet coke to drink.”
And then don’t even get me started on this 1 employee being annoying and kinda rude. When I go to a McDonald’s to eat in, I don’t want an employee hovering around me asking me 200 questions while I TRY TO FREAKING EAT!!!!! Let alone that Ibknow this employye from school, and now she keeps asking me for my phone number or she and her mom will find mine or my siblings’ phone numbers and harass us that way!!!!! I need to go to the McDonald’s on Plank Road if I wanna eat in. And that McDonald’s actually makes the food right, too.

Ordered 5 double cheeseburgers. 2 with ketchup and sauce only. Two large fries. Went through the drive thru. We were asked to park in spot #1 (which isn’t marked) to wait – we waited 14 minutes for them to bring it out. The fries were not fresh. Only one cheeseburger had only ketchup and cheese. The burgers looked like someone played catch with them or dropped them off a building. They were cold. Will never go here again.

Love how i place an order and use points for a mcflurry, and pay for a bug mac meal they not only can they not do the mcdlurry because ice cream machine is down like normal but they cant do my food side of the order and i have to pay again for it being promised i will be refunded in 24hrs…. so instead of a $15 order its now $30 ive spent. Multi times ive come her because i like near by and multi times stuff has been messed up or missing… go to one of the other 2 here in town avoid the collage one

I should know better than to come back here again because usually my food is literally always messed up and not correct didn’t give me the correct food. My food was cold. Made me wait a half hour to get my food so I told her they can just keep it because there was literally nobody in the dining room or the drive-through and I should’ve known from the last time that I went to this McDonald’s because they did the same exact thing messed up my food n made me wait n was rude. Literally no reason for it to take more than a half hour to make a burger and two drinks. YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE!

I will never come to this McDonald’s again. Me and my friend were there trying to enjoy our meal with our kids and an employee there named Sophia who used to work with my friend was starting rumors about him and even gave his number to her friends who proceeded to message him and harass him woth texts and calls. Once he went in to talk to the manger she said that they could not do anything about the situation. The manger basically refused to talk to Sophia about what she did. This McDonald’s needs to have a different manager and most defitenly needs to not let harassment of any sorts happen to customers.
