A Pleasant Surprise!
I came in with modest expectations since this is a franchise Jamaican/Caribbean spot, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good but the people were even better.
Julian recommended I try the curry oxtail (something I didn’t even know existed), and it did not disappoint. Flavorful, tender, and full of that Caribbean kick. Major props to her for the suggestion.
If you’re reading this and wondering if it’s worth a visit—absolutely. I definitely recommend this location in particular. Sometimes franchise places can feel generic, but this one exceeded expectations, both in food and in genuine hospitality.

I was searching for some nice Jamaican breakfast, and when I called this golden Krust, Romaine answered the phone and she was so extremely pleasant and friendly. I wanted some fried dumplings and they only had 2 left! She said she would hold them if I got there shortly and lo and behold, she held her word! I took the drive through and spoke with a pleasant young man, Julian, who greeted me like I was back home. He was very informative and got me my food in record time! You would have thought his last name was Bolt! All in all, this Golden Krust will not disappoint. From fresh food to wholesome staff, nothing compares!

Listen ive been coming to this place since i was like for alot of years. I went today with my daughter got her 2 beef patties and got 2 veggie patties for myself. I am highly dissapointed in the patties you can tell the veggie patties have been heated and pre heated and heated again. They were stiff and hard to chew. Very sad that such a famous company does not take more pride in the food they present and give their customers no matter their diet.

This Golden Krust restaurant is the best one I’ve been to so far. I live miles away, but this location is worth the trip — I’m always pleased with both the taste of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I usually have the pleasure of being helped by Taneice, who is always very pleasant. Her customer service skills are amazing!

I went to the Lauderhill location and the pleasantries and service were excellent. I bought 2 beef patties and 2 jerk chicken patties. I have not had the beef patty as yet, I only had one of the jerk chicken patties and it was horrible. The meat thick and tasted heavy. The crust tasted uncooked, dried and hard as if it had been made months ago. What is supposed to be crust flake sticks out and feels like melted plastic. It was that bad, honestly.
