Now I have been coming here since this place has opened, and I’ve never had any complaints today I have one. And it’s NOT their fault.. it is definitely because of all of the prices is going up, due to the Orange Monster however, they have raised their prices (to continue to stay open)..if you go into the restaurant you will see their original prices covered and new prices on top of those. And it’s pretty sad they even shrunk the bun on the Philly cheese steak. It used to be a good 6 in. Now by the looks of it I believe it’s half that bun. And I paid more for it..which by all mean would because it’s that good .. So you would think if I’m paying more for a product I would get the same product the same size and the same amount of ingredients inside that product. But this is not happening, due to prices out of control …And it saddens me. Chicago grill is an amazing place to eat. Definitely have amazing owners and very amazing atmosphere, I’m just a little disappointed in today’s trip and finding how much the prices have went up and my sandwich shortened I do hope that things change and they are able to go back to the way things were ..here’s to hoping! Overall, this place is an amazing spot to go eat. I would check it out if you haven’t already! SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! They need us!!! PS I did take one bite only out of that sandwich in the photo I couldn’t resist

Hands down, this is the best chicken shawarma in the state. The meat is juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The hummus is creamy and delicious with just the right amount of garlic and tang. Everything tastes super fresh and the veggies are all on top, making every bite perfect. The pita is warm and soft, and the whole dish just comes together so well. On top of that, the service is great. The staff is friendly, fast, and really makes the experience enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back for this again and again.

Chicago Grill is absolute fire—best place in Appleton to get that real Chicago taste without hopping in the car for hours. The food slaps hard: juicy Italian beef sandwiches loaded with giardiniera and jus, authentic Chicago-style hot dogs (no ketchup, ever), killer gyros piled high with meat and tzatziki, Maxwell Street Polish sausages, fresh fries, and those wraps/steaks that hit just right. Portions are generous, everything’s fresh and flavorful, and it actually transports you straight to the Windy City. Service is friendly and quick, spot’s clean and chill downtown, perfect for lunch, dinner, or takeout.
Yeah, it’s got that classic grill energy, but the grub is top-tier every time—no disappointments. If you’re craving Chicago classics in the Fox Valley, this is the spot. 5 stars all the way—keep bringing that heat, Chicago Grill!

We went here on a whim and found a nice and delicious gem that’s hidden just a little behind the hustle and bustle of College Ave.
Falafel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside the Chicago Style Burger had a nicely cooked patty but the star was the tender Gyro Meat. Didn’t even need Ketchup or Mustard the pickle added a nice fresh pop into the Cucumber Sauce.
Hot Dogs are simple but tasty and the fries were nicely salted and crisp.

Love this place, gotta get out here more. It’s right by our job at dong po so really no excuse. Affordable prices, nice customer service, and the food is really good. One bone for an elite rare diet crush is always appreciated as well. They have a super wide variety of options on the menu, so there’s really something for everyone. The ambience leaves something to be desired I guess, but it’s not bad or terribly uninviting. 5 stars!

We ate-in on a Friday night, and there was no wait! We got a gyro sandwich and a Chicago dog. The food was hot, tasty and reasonably priced. The space is a little dated, but it fits the restaurant vibe. Met my expectations.
Follow along as we try a different, random restaurant in the Fox Valley every weekend.

I visited this establishment in September of 2022, being a Chicago native I was excited to try a place that expressed serving my hometown dishes. We had an Italian beef and a gyro. The food was delicious, watch out for the giardiniera it’s very spicy and can put your Italian beef out of commission. The fries we got were very good and perfectly crispy. Seating at the establishment was adequate for the type of restaurant. Decor was cool.
I will be returning to try more dishes but I would say that it’s a decent substitution for a Chicago place.
The only thing knocking off a star is the serving sizes. They are medium sandwich prices for small sandwiches. Give me a big beef option for a few bucks more and give me a 10” sandwich or a big gyro option like the spots in Chicago. I will return.

Impressed with the taste and portions of the Philly cheese steak and chicken Philly. I had a veggie Mediterranean meal and was pleased with the variety included.

The food is just as good as the day they first opened. Consistency at this level over the years is very unusual. Their prices are reasonable, portions are great, overall a standout value. My only criticism is the guest area could be kept cleaner.

Great little place downtown to grab a bite to eat. Their menu boosts a good selection of pretty much everything. I tried the Chicago Dog and a Gyro. The gyro was amazing.
