Long hair found in brisket… literally pulled it out my mouth stringy like a spaghetti noodle i thought it was me until i went looking for what i knew it was in my mouth – I have a curly texture even put that hair in the toilet of water and it stayed straight… just disgusting- wear hair nets and dont play in your hair

The Heisman sandwich was piled high and super tasty. Also had a half rack of ribs with potato salad and bean. All VERY GOOD. Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

Food is delicious and service is speedy and efficient. The decor reflects Billy Simms in many ways. There is also some Pro-OU Decorations, so I would not recommend for an UT fans but it is still delicious.

For the most part, I do really like Billy Sims barbecue despite that whole connection to OU. I do like the Heisman sandwich with either pulled pork or chopped brisket with sausage and bologna. Macaroni is also delicious. Overall food was great. Service wasn’t bad but not good either. It’s like they had several people that knew their job but not how to work together. One customer came back 3 times for missed items while our food just sat there and didn’t get moved along.

Follow Up and rating adjustment:
They reached out and I gave them another go (they did not know when I would visit next). My original review must have been a fluke or off night. 3 times since have all been very good and orders correct. So either a fluke or they truly corrected course.
I hate giving negative reviews when most visits go fine at a restaurant but this one was ruined our mood for the entire night.
Friday night:
A friend on his way over stopped to get us BBQ.
He ordered inside, The staff were extremely friendly to him and “seemed to be hustling”. We also verified on the receipt it was punched in 100% correctly.
So no negative marks on the front staff

What was wrong:
Frito Chili Mac – “LOADED with Onions” (he ate 5 bites as he hates onions)
3 Meat Dinner Not a x3 portion and SO dry (I get this a lot so I know what x3 looks like and it is not normally dry like this)

I went here for a pick up order. Food was delicious! Great value for two people sharing BBQ. Game day meal is great for sharing with a lot of options. I put 3 stars on atmosphere because I don’t thinknyou go here for that and it seemed pretty small.
