We came out for our 8th anniversary, the host/server was super friendly and helpful! I’d never eaten at any Indian food restaurants before, and he was super helpful to us, recommending different dishes, and warm friendly conversation! The food was amazing, I’m so happy we tried this place! We got the Chicken 65 and Veggie Platter for appetizers, and the mixed grill and Rogan Josh curry for entrees, with garlic naan bread! Will definitely be coming back. We loved this little cozy restaurant.

This was definitely not what I was expecting from the kind of run down looking little strip of shops, and I was surprised in the best way possible! WOW! The space inside is beautiful and felt classy. The ambiance music was nice and not too loud. Our server was awesome; attentive and friendly without pestering. And then, the food! It was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Husband and I both went with the medium spice, though we are both reasonably spice tolerant. It was delicious. I intentionally ordered more than I could eat so we have lunch for tomorrow and I can’t wait. We had Onion Bhajia, Mulligatawny soup, Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Korma, and Bullet Naan. All amazing, but if I had to pick, the soup might be my favorite.

We came to Carbondale to visit a friend and ended up eating here. Best part of the trip. I will happily drive 1.5 hours to come back here just to eat. Also our server was very friendly and pleasant to talk to and helped my husband who wasn’t familiar with Indian food pick out his meal which he also loved. Best meal we have had out in a long time.

“Happy” just doesn’t do our experience justice. We are so beyond pleased with the entire experience we had at this beautiful restaurant. The food was really incredible, I can’t stress that enough. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and their selection is impressive!
We drove a little over an hour to try something new and look forward to making the drive back in the near future, as we’ve found our new favorite spot.

Great Spot with Awesome Vibes and Even Better Service
This little Indian restaurant is such a great find. It’s got a cool, modern feel with some really neat and ambient paintings on the walls—gives the place a unique vibe that’s both cozy and stylish.
The lunch buffet isn’t huge, but everything on it was super fresh and well made. You can tell they care more about quality than just filling up trays, which I really appreciated.
The best part, though, was the service. Our waitress noticed on her own that the naan from the buffet wasn’t as fresh as it could be, and without us even asking, she brought over a basket of fresh, hot naan straight from the kitchen. That kind of attention to detail says a lot.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for good food and a chill, welcoming atmosphere.

Overall an incredible experience for us. The food was very flavorful and each dish we ordered was uniquely enjoyable. The best part was the fried cauliflower: it was so crispy, like a good stir fried chicken, and the flavor carried through well. Don’t expect hurried service, they are pacing around helping everyone but it’s not a quick dining experience by any means. However, once our order was in everything came out in a timely fashion.

Just want to share my recent dining experience here. The fourth photo was taken December last year and that’s my first time trying chicken 65, I immediately fell in love with that dish. So we ordered it again this February as picture 3. I am very disappointed about the chicken 65 I had this time (picture 1 and 2). It was dry not juicy, smaller pieces (and portion) and some of the pieces weren’t even actually chicken. They were mixed potato and some green spice. We asked the waitress about what happened to the dish. She told me they had a new chef, who, upon hearing our complaint, got into a shouting match with the manager in the kitchen. We were then told by the manager there would be a discount, but then the waitress forgot to put it on for two of us. When we got outside the chef was there and gave us a menacing look, which was disconcerting especially since we were an all female party. Honestly, we vastly prefer the previous menu and were appalled at the service tonight.

I have been here twice now and they have such an amazing cuisine and it is very inviting! The lamb Somoas and onion fritter things are so good definitely try them when you go! I also got engaged here! They gave us a very delicious dessert!
