I can’t get enough of Romanos sausage pizza. However, it’s Friday, so we both got walleye. Today, the fillets were thick and moist, just perfect. We also think highly of the potato chips and dip. We (my sister and I) have always been treated well by the staff, and usually find the other customers very friendly.

Filthy place, rude bartenders. Bartenders only seem to care about their regulars and doing shots behind the bar,very unprofessional.
Pizza took over an hour to come out and the cheese was coagulated. Typically happens with a cheaper cheese. Service and quality have gone downhill over the years. Wouldn’t recommend..

We called ahead for a pizza pick up. We were told 45 minutes….no problem! We live 10 minutes away so we came down and had a drink and told the bartender we had called an order in…again no problem. After sitting at the bar for an hour the bartender said….oh I guess I can go see if that is done. Sure enough it was done. It was cold.
The sauce is different since they reopen….not nearly as good…bartender only seems to care about her regulars, everyone else gets ignored.

Pizza was very good. Heavy on the cheese with the appropriate amount of sauce and toppings complimented well together. On the Wednesday of our visit they had a special of a 16 inch pizza with 3 toppings and two drinks for $20. A very good value. The hand cut fries were very good as well and large portion size. The soup of the day was hearty and filling. They only took cash and check, however I believe there is a ATM in the corner by the restroom.

Bartender outside (woman) was rude both times we’ve been there, and the owner inside behind the bar is not very friendly either despite trying to make small talk and be nice. Food took a really long time to come out both times we’ve been there so beware. Pizza was average despite what we’d heard, however chicken bacon ranch wrap was very tasty and would recommend. Overall experience was meh both times where I’d alternatively suggest a much better experience and food at nearby Hoozel’s at the Lakes.

I have given this establishment several opportunities to show me that they are good as I have been told. I am to the point where I will no longer be a customer nor recommending them. I live 7 minutes from the location on the same road. I ordered my single sausage pizza at 5:20pm. I called at 6:30 to see where it is as I was told within an hour. ” It’s actually in right now”…. It’s now 7:24pm…. This is just piss poor service… Last time I ordered all the crust was burnt… Sell this place to someone who cares. Update… shows up at 7:31 and I have a Pepperoni folded over….

Romano’s is a must if you’re in the area. This beef sandwich had me drooling. The potato salad, which I never liked anyone’s before, is incredible. The munchie basket is amazing! The sausage is great! The meatball sandwich is even better. And they have the best Chicago pizza I’ve had since moving here from Chicago. You have to check this place out. Sooooooooooo good. Oh, and the waitress is amazing too. Love Romano’s!

Been there once for a bloody Mary and a beer. That was good and so was the service. The 2nd time i ordered a pizza..the girl that answered to take my order was not unfriendly but didn’t seem to care to much about helping me so I just assumed that they were busy but when I got there, they were not and that’s when i found out they only take cash but they have an ATM…I tried 3 different cards at that ATM and it would not work so unfortunately I did not get to try the pizza…had to go elsewhere … They are about a half hr drive for us so maybe we will make it that way anither time as I would like to try it
