California Vintage Wine Bistro is a beautifully crafted wine bar bistro serving 40 amazing California wines with a chef inspired menu. We also have a tasting room where the guest can hand select their personal and favorite wines for tasting or an actual glass using their own personal tap card. We also sell bottles of wines for retail sale.

Vanessa took great care of the requests I asked for. The food came out hot and fresh! As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted and taken to our seat. The ambience was enjoyable for a relaxing day after work. From the beverages to the entrées onto De dessert. Everything was delicious!

Love this amazing bistro where the service by Shea was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful bottle of Spanish wine and the large charcuterie board along with the fried chicken for starters. I won’t lie, I was full with that , but the hubbs wanted to try more! We then had the fettuccine Alfredo and that was amazing. Shea was so wonderful and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon!

If you don’t know or have not heard about the California Vintage Wine Bistro (BLACK OWNED) in Orange County you SHOULD so consider yourself informed. This restaurant is AMAZING, the SERVICE IMPECCABLE, the food DELICIOUS, the owner Mr. Ernest SO FREAKIN COOL!! We had the PLEASURE of meeting and having a great conversation with the Chief (Gracia). This restaurant is the perfect spot for a date night, friends night out, celebrating your birthday or shoot just dinner with your family or by yourself. TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The restaurant sits directly across the street from the Anaheim Stadium.

We had a wonderful dinner there tonight. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful—warm and inviting. I believe the gentleman who assisted us was the owner; he was incredibly personable and took the time to make sure we understood how everything worked, from the delicious food to the great wine selections they offer. I especially loved the thoughtful hooks under the table where I could hang my purse—such a small detail, but it made a big difference. A small, quaint wine bar that offers a food and drinks. High-top tables and 1-2 booths.
You can get a standard 6 oz glass, a full bottle, or build your own flight of four 2 oz pours. Staff is nice and can offer recommendations and a taster.

This is a 3.5 star review! 3 stars feel harsh, but 4 stars doesn’t seem quite accurate as I would describe it as a “solid fine” with nothing that was extremely stand out.
FOOD
Had Brussels, shishito peppers, lamb chops, and spicy tuna rolls, which were easily shared between two people.
-Brussels: a little too soft and would have enjoyed them more crispy; almost too much sauce, but the flavor was good
-Peppers: not too spicy and just fine
-Lamb Chops: excellent
-Spicy Tuna Roll: fine
-Raspberry Sorbet: large portion and tasty (they comped us for our anniversary, which was nice)
WINE
We might not know enough about wine to appreciate this place. We got a flight, but wish we would have each just ordered our own glass. Our favorite was the syrah.
We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was super quiet. Our server was very attentive, so I would give 5/5 on service. Not sure what service is like during busier times. Seems like a good spot for gals dinner.
Parking is in a structure right behind it, but is validated for 90 minutes.
If you like wine and small plates, I would recommend, but I do not feel like I need to go back.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this charming restaurant located in Anaheim in the shadow of Angel Stadium and loved everything about it. We were greeted by the owner who was pleasant and felt familiar, not too formal, not too relaxed, and not sales. The 90s R&B was perfect for the vibe, loud enough to be enjoyed, yet low enough to allow conversations to be had without having to shout or repeat yourself. I hate Brussels sprouts, but that’s because I had never had them at California Vintage Wine before. Their brussel sprouts were so tender and prepared with cinnamon apple. That may sound like an odd pairing, but we loved it. The Moroccan lamb chops were also excellent. Our server was attentive but not disruptive and all of our food was flavorful. The artwork on the walls gave character and added warmth to the establishment. The wine options were plentiful; I couldn’t decide, so I ordered the wine flight, which was 4 2oz pours,. We topped our meal with the freshest tasting carrot cake, which wasn’t really large enough for two people to share, but maybe we’re just greedy. This place is perfect for date night, solo dates, girls’ night out, or small celebrations! We will make this our go-to spot now that I’ll be visiting Anaheim often!

The location was easy to find, the ambiance was perfect, food was flavorful with yummy sauces for the salmon and crab cakes.

Had an amazing experience here. Food was top notch, can tell the chief really enjoyed the dishes they where putting out. The wine flight was perfect option for exploring. Enjoyed each selection we tried. Staff went above and beyond and very attentive. Shea was a delight and the owner/manger came over asking questions. Highly recommend for date night or friendly gathering as the place was very warm and relaxing.
