This is, without question, the best Thai restaurant my husband, Bill, and I have ever visited. The food is outstanding. I’ve always loved lettuce wraps and used to prefer PF Chang’s—until I tried Durian Durian’s. They’re even better! The fried rice and eggplant tempura are also exceptional. Portions are generous, the service is consistently five‑star, and the owner, Ivy, is one of the most impressive restaurateurs we’ve ever met. The restaurant is spotless and wonderfully comfortable for casual dining. If you’re in the Lake Nona area, you will not be disappointed. Truly a fantastic dining experience.

We ordered take-out for the first time. Durian Durian did not disappoint. We got the honey garlic tofu, pad see-u noodle with chicken and samosas. We enjoyed everything. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of the hosts. They were so nice and pleasant. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you like Thai food.

This is our favorite Thai food spot in the area. The food is dependably delicious and the restaurant environment is neat, relaxing, and welcoming. We love the pad Thai, pad see ew, pad kee mao, and pineapple fried rice the most.
The owner will remember your face, and we are always blown away by the service and hospitality we receive, even when doing a pickup order.
Literally every time we have visited we have overheard the owner greet other “regulars” and ask if they’d like “the usual table” and recite their favorite go-to order to get it started in the kitchen right away. It’s a special kind of family-owned hospitality matched with homemade food feel you just don’t find as much these days.
We cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

This has been a place me and my family always frequent and have confidence we will not leave disappointed. The restaurant has been here for many years and has consistently made us happy in every way – the food has always been delicious and the way we want it, the service is on point and so friendly and helpful, and the ambiance is amazing and good for any kind of party – couples/dates, family dinners, business lunches/dinners, and large birthday parties. I highly recommend anyone who loves and appreciates great Thai food, to go here, and leave fully satisfied!

Was my mom’s birthday and the restaurant we tried to go to was closed for Superbowl (who does that?)
Found this cute spot and was so happy to find they have sooo many vegan options!!! My mother in law is a vegan so it was the perfect fit. The hostess and server were great and they even gave my MIL a birthday donut dessert with candles! My family was all very impressed by their food. We love authentic Thai.

I used to really enjoy this place, but lately they’ve been skimping on the food. They no longer add vegetables to the vegetable fried rice; instead, it only includes onions and beans sprouts. Plus, they charge an extra dollar for protein when they know they didn’t put any vegetables in the food. Portion sizes have shrunk by at least half, and the spring rolls order size has decreased significantly, but prices remain the same. I used to love this spot, but I wouldn’t return now. There are many other places offering similar food for less money and better taste.

My husband ordered the chicken Panang curry and I ordered the Singapore street noodles – both medium spicy. The Panang curry lacked flavor and the chicken had an odd texture (“slippery” is the best way I can describe it). The Singapore noodles were very flavorful, just a bit on spicy. The price was what I would expect for this type of restaurant, and the portions were decent. I would be willing to try this place again, but I will skip the Panang curry dish.
