We celebrated my wife’s birthday at The Huntōn recently, and I have to say, we were completely blown away. Honestly, the entire experience was so seamless and sharp, the quality of the service reminded us of the most recent seasons of The Bear! The staff was incredibly attentive and conversational, clearly knowing their craft inside and out. It’s rare to feel that level of confidence from a service team, and it really sets the tone for the evening.

When it came to the food, everything hit the mark. The side of chicken fat rice was unexpectedly delicious—perfectly al dente and spiced so well. But the real stars were the steaks. Both of our filets were cooked flawlessly to temp: a spot-on medium for one of us, and a perfect medium rare for the other. The au poivre sauce was classic and paired absolutely perfectly.

What really made the night special, though, were those little details that show true care. We loved the fun little things they did to set themselves apart, like getting to choose our own steak knife. It just elevates the whole experience.

Ultimately, we were incredibly happy with the entire night. It was a spectacular way to celebrate my wife, and while it’s certainly a high-end experience, it felt priced perfectly for the amazing quality and memorable evening we had. We’ll definitely be back!

⭐️ They truly care! ⭐️

Have to say one of the finest dine-in experience in my recent past. Fine dine is so much more than good food. And these guys understand what it takes. The staff is professional and super attentive to get you that curated experience. We were asked to order all courses at once so the team can plan and space out the courses. We felt we were looked after really well. We like to take it slow through each course and we did not feel rushed even once. Keep up the great hospitality guys .

Night manager a Japanese whiskey cocktail with infused flavors hit the perfect notes.
Krone is nice bubbly pinot noir.
Caesar salad tasted fresh.
Roasted beets with zhug, tzatziki and nuts came together really well to give you the balanced earthy, sweet and tangy flavor profile.
‍ Mushroom kabob had nice charred flavor accompanied with lime/lemon rice and herbs.
The black alaska is loaded. Brownie, nuts with toasty marshmallow layer at top. But you have to dig in for the richness.

Highly recommended for a truly fine dine experience.

Attentive wait staff. Came to dine with my husband for our wedding anniversary. We ordered foi gras, venison tartalete, filet mignon, rainbow trout and some sides. The complimentary champagne and jujube was a delight. Food was delicious overall but for the price, I expected to be blown away. The chicken-fat rice was dry. The main reasons I’m docking off a couple of stars:
1) The unfortunate digestive upset I experienced not long after our meal.
2) The portions were small and not very filling, so I’d suggest not arriving overly hungry.
3) Appetizer took 30 minutes to come out, much longer than expected for a fine dining experience.
4) Parking can suck so arrive a bit early to give yourself some time to walk if you end up parking at the public lots/garages nearby.

For a new restaurant, this was shockingly amazing. The staff were all very knowledgeable, giving little stories about each dish instead of just listing ingredients. The hospitality was overall very good. It is plain to see that they all really like working there and have been putting in the effort.

The food though, was incredible. The little foie tart thing stole the show for me. The tuna tartare (which in my opinion is usually a throwaway dish on a menu) was so unique and spectacular. If you get a steak, the Hunton sauce was my favorite. The duck taco was really unexpected. Overall, it was one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in the DMV area in the past few years.

And then dessert came out. Get the Black Alaska. It’s out of this world. The other desserts were great, but the Alaska is a reason to go to the restaurant all on its own.

I think they’ve been open for about a month. Our meal at the Hunton was already better than most of the Michelin 1 star restaurants in DC. I can’t wait to see how it evolves over the next year or two. It was easily worth the drive out there and I’m already planning to go back next month.

We have been to The Huntōn over two dozen times since they opened and the bar service, host staff, wait staff, and hotel team are fantastic! Last night we went to have dinner to celebrate our dear friend’s birthday and were expecting an A+ experience! (Especially since our final bill ended up being several hundred dollars.)

Our bartenders were fantastic, our hostesses were fantastic, our waiters were fantastic! So we order drinks and they were amazing, then comes ordering food (not our first time) and my husband loves the steak frites but they are on the menu at the lounge adjoining The Huntōn, but we’ve ordered it at the property and it wasn’t an issue, after all it’s the same kitchen, but yesterday, we told our waiter, if you can get the steak frites that would be great, if not we’ll take the filet mignon with fries.

Now comes the unfortunate part of our experience and why I can’t give 5 stars…

The chef…Vincent, he said his name was, said “I am coming out myself because I needed you to hear this from me” (paraphrasing because what came next is what really bothered me).

He then condescendingly said, “we don’t have the steak frites here, if you want that you can go eat there” {meaning the Diana Lounge} and then went on to say that he didn’t want our waiters to tell us that but we had our choice.

Now we were celebrating our dear friend’s birthday and seated with amazing drinks at our table so of course we weren’t going anywhere else but how absolutely unnecessary…

I’ll come back for drinks with our favorites but I will not be celebrating special occasions there. It’s a shame because last time we had dinner they served me the chicken with nuts (I’m allergic) and I apologized and they ended up remaking it for me, but this experience with Vincent was enough to make this no longer a dinner place for me.

I do invite everyone to go and enjoy the atmosphere but be mindful of not being publicly chastised for asking to have something if you didn’t know it broke Vincent’s arbitrary rules!

By far the most exceptional experience anyone could ask for. Five star. White glove. Luxury service. Perfect for mom’s diamond jubilee birthday. Sam, Maria, Brandon, and the whole crew made us feel at home, were knowledgeable, and took great care of us. And on holiday weekend!!!

I already knew the space was awesome – beautiful. Turns out the food was just as impressive. Everything we ate (bread, cheese, steak, fish, risotto, sides, dessert) looked and tasted amazing. Brandon and team took great care of us.

Amazing experience. Amazing food. Amazing space. Top notch service (Henry my server and the entire staff were all incredible).

Started with the Tiger’s Blood cocktail, then the Tuscan Kale Caesar (avocado, pistachio, hearts of palm with anchovy dressing). For dinner, the Denver steak with Hunton sauce, plus herbed truffle fries on the side. Dessert? The C&C doughnuts….who knew thyme in a doughnut could be pure genius?! And to top it off, Chef Vincent himself surprised me with an incredible bite of foie gras (strawberry, pistachio, cocoa nib).

As always, Chef Vincent Badiee is doing great things with amazing flavors. Job well done, Chef. So happy to have you back in Loudoun County and see you again real soon with my husband who missed an incredible meal.

Incredible menu, service, and atmosphere. We went for our anniversary not knowing what to expect and the Hunton completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the foie gras, the risotto with gold leaf, rainbow trout with spinach, and the absinth ice cream brownie for dessert. The dishes are creative and very flavorful. Cocktails were excellent as well. The Hunton is giving Michelin star vibes! Can’t wait to go back and try caviar in a martini.
