I’m a former Atlantan, moved to Tampa area 5 years ago but when I come back up for a visit, Hai is on my list. My server(s) were excellent as always. Gotta say I’m very satisfied.

We found this place couple of weeks ago and we are in love with it we’ve been there 3 times already ♀️ we got the lunch special twice which is a great deal btw the food is amazing crazy thing out of all the dish we’ve ordered (chicken chili and green onion, Mongolian beef, pig knuckle, pork belly, kung pao chicken, schechuan pepper beef, gold mountain chicken, general tso chicken and eggplant fries) the eggplant was my favorite. You should definitely get the fried rice which usually I’m not really in love with but theirs is amazing I give the place a 10/10 we’ll be back

I just visited the location & many diners were seated/ & others waiting to be served.
I had steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings.
The dough was thick & pasty-salty … as if the dumplings had been frozen / quickly thawed & served ….

Went with my wife on a whim. Not being from Atlanta, this was definitely not the typical Chinese place we were accustomed to. We were pleasantly surprised upon entry by the atmosphere. I immediately took note of the number of Asian people inside and thought that must bode well for quality and authenticity. Seating inside was a little cramped, but overall okay. Wait time was nonexistent. The wonton appetizer could have tasted better, but it was hot and fresh. My wife had pork belly, which I sampled, and it was great. The plain rice was just that… zero flavor. I had sesame chicken and thankfully subbed rice for lo mein, and it was excellent. Pricier than expected, but understandable and warranted for the service and quality.

The food here is great! Always fresh! Love the dry fried eggplant and grandma’s noodles in particular! We get take out from here often. They are always quick and efficient at making even larger group orders. Order is always accurate. Highly recommend!

Hai’s menu indicates East Asian cuisine, leaning towards Korean.
Party of five. We ordered from the ($11) lunch menu, then added a few large dishes for the table. Vegetable and meat/fish dishes were both well-prepared and delicious. Portions were just right – comfortably filling but not overfull.
All of us recommend Hai.

A treasure restaurant in the area. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Lunch menu with rice soup and a meat/veggie choice for just $10 during weekdays. Everything we got was tasty.

Well now, listen. You have a great menu.. However, there was too much salt in my dish. Next time, soak those chili peppers before throwing them in the dish..but fresh is preferred. Additionally, topping with fresh cilantro and scallions is a better choice than whatever that was in my dish. I would like to be able to ID. Both dishes, pig feet and belly were too salty…utilize fresh spices to bring out the flavor without the salt overload…you can do better. Did I say. I love your menu?

Peter is one of the finest chefs I have ever met. His skill and broad experience are second to none. I recommend that everyone try his Hai Restaurant in Decatur, GA. Once you do, you’ll be coming back at least once a week.
