Oh man I don’t think I’ve had tacos that good in so long – I can’t remember when! So many wonderful flavors and was perfectly done, nothing was greasy. The burrito was huge and delicious and the taco shells were thin chewy and crunchy, the best! Wonderful sauces, everything was so fresh & flavorful. I wish we lived closer! ☺️

The birria tacos are the menu standout, with fresh red and green salsa and lime, and plenty of melted cheese and pico/cilantro. The adobado is very good too, and the chicken is okay. Fresh horchata.
Lunch gets slammed with what seems like every drywall and framing crew within driving distance, so be prepared to wait – but that’s obviously a good sign!

A little bummed today my order got mixed up. And I understand what happened I’m just bummed cuz I’ve had nothing but great experiences! I go here at least every other week and spend $50-$100. Today everything felt a little off including my order, tried to get three of each birria, chicken, and asada tacos. 1 of each chicken & asada w/just cheese. Plus kids quesadilla meal. Then 20ish min later added just plain bean & cheese burrito(side note $10). Unfortunately no tacos with just cheese and meat and the quesadilla meal had half beef and half chicken instead of just cheese.. So as children go I have 2 kids Not eating… Usually 5 STARS All the way across the board!

I am from New Hampshire and in the area for work. I recently stopped at Taqueria Nayarit for lunch after exploring Fort Worden. I got a burrito and a Birria taco. Both were delicious! But I must stress to anyone thinking about stopping for the first time, this was hands down the BEST taco I have had in years. In fact I suspect the last time I enjoyed a taco of this quality was the last time I was in San Diego in 2021. Do yourself a favor, stop and grab lunch here. Do not forget to try to the Birria Taco. My compliments to the chef.
