Don’t listen to the reviews from the guy from New Mexico. This food is absolutely even hard to label mid. Beyond that, the prices you see on the menu are not the prices they will charge you in the end. And when you ask about the pricing they’re charging, they will tell you that it’s an up charge for having put it on your credit card but they charge you more than 10% more than the food items listed on the menu. Which would be one thing if the food was palatable whatsoever. Our service was incredibly slow, the food came at different times, the chips didn’t come before the entrées. This was an absolute poor decision that we drove 25 minutes for. Spare yourself.
They charged over $15 for the burrito you see that is all french fries and no meat. They charged over $12 for the veggie burrito that had absolutely no onions or peppers in it, as their menu states it should. No hot sauce available in house. This was very sub par.
Two people, one Horchata, one thing of chips with two salsa, and the two burritos was over $50 for lunch.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants whenever we visit the area. Growing up in Texas made me truly appreciate Mexican culture and food, and El Carnal has that authentic Mexican flavor that I haven’t found in other restaurants in Florida.
When we go, I usually order the quesabirrias and tostadas de camarón, and my kids absolutely love the street tacos . Besides its rich flavors, El Carnal offers a great variety of food and drinks. I especially enjoy their fresh waters, particularly the cucumber-lemon, while my kids prefer the passion fruit juice.
The atmosphere is great, with Latin music that really makes you feel the culture. The service is excellent as well—staff regularly checks on your table and makes sure you’re receiving great service.
One thing I really like about this place is the dessert section, where they sell fruit ice creams, obleas, and fruit slushes—a wonderful way to end a delicious meal.
I highly recommend this place!

This was an AMAZING experience!!!! We visited the restaurant a few weeks ago and after enjoying dinner and drinks we asked them if they could cater for a party that we were planning “Mexican style”.
We ordered according to their suggestions and what a great idea that was. Food was INCREDIBLE, they provided everything that we needed and the food was fresh and delicious. Their guacamole was so good, their salsas and all the meat choices for our taco selection was really awesome.
El Carnal has made it to one of my top choices and by far “Number one” when craving Mexican food. Good job guys!!!!
