Our goal is simple: We want to deliver high-quality Nashville Hot Chicken and the best customer service anyone can have. Since the day we started our Pop-Up, we maintained a high level of transparency with our customers. We built the Baba’s brand as a community and have gained some very loyal customers in the process. The co-founder of Baba’s Chicken is a 27-year-old student who is currently studying Financial Accounting at the University of Riverside. This young man’s love for food was no random discovery, it was normal for him to spend countless hours scrolling through food pages for dinner inspiration. He has never had any formal culinary training by some fancy chef, he simply cooks for happy bellies.

We stopped by Baba’s Hot Chicken when we visited the lab. We love Nashville hot chicken and found this place.
The burgers were delicious, we got the hot and it definitely had a kick to the sandwich which was nice and crispy. The cheesy baba was good also, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns was interesting but it worked.
Hubby is a wing guy so he was happy that babas had the all new wings on the menu. We tried different spice levels including the extreme which packed a kick. It was definitely spicy and had my husband with hiccups but he said he enjoyed the taste.
We loved the ambiance of the food lab with the multiple restaurants and Baba’s was definitely worth the stop. We will be back again to try more of their items.

Love the riverside food lab location. Great restaurants to choose from. Perfect for foodies. My son wanted to try Babas because he loves hot chicken. He got the tenders combo in medium with macaroni. He said the tenders were juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. The Mac and cheese on the other hand was bland and very processed and chemically testing. Did not taste fresh and homemade at all. He said he would only get chicken next time

Food smelled fire. I didn’t order but I ate from my friends plate. We aren’t friends anymore. She got mad because I wouldn’t pay her back and I ate half the plate. But it was worth every chew.

Jazleen and Azul were so welcoming and so helpful with the menu. It was my first time here at the Riverside Food Lab and I was feeling quite overwhelmed with the options but Jazleen was very accommodating and so kind! Their service was amazing and so was their dedication to their job!

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The flavors were well balanced and you could really tell that high-quality ingredients were used. Each bite was delicious and satisfying, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming.

The chicken was very good. High quality & juicy. I tried medium & hot. They were pleasant and not annoyingly spicy.
Crinkle cut fries were great too.
The sauces they gave with the tenders didn’t have much flavor or my mouth was on fire and I didn’t taste em.

Terrible Customer Service. I ordered from them online on New Year’s Day because their website and their Google information said they were open until 10pm. I got there at around 8pm and they were already closed. I reached out and called to speak to a manager about a refund and it would just sent me to an Ai voicemail. I left a message and I never received a call from management. I called 3 more times after that and left voicemails and my information and not once did a manager get back to me. They took my money and they won’t even call me back fix this issue. It’s fine if they close early on New Years but then why let people still be able to order online? Or fix your hours online to the actual closing time.

Was super excited to try this place out after driving for 8 hours just to find out that it was not good at all. Super disappointed considering all the advertisement the entire fries combo with chicken was covered in slaw and felt like just a pile of slaw mixed with idk what and couldn’t even taste the chicken. The presentation felt like it was just thrown together and was no where to sit and eat either. Super disappointed considering how good it looked, definitely won’t be going back. The chicken itself was just average.
