After going to the Jurassic Quest experience we found this restaurant on YELP. Located in a large strip mall it has pictures of some of their more traditional dishes on the front windows. There is ample booth and table seating in a warm environment. There wasn’t much artwork or colorful displays like most Latino restaurants. You can order at the counter or at your table. We were seated quickly with no wait. Waitress seemed a little short at the beginning but had a much better attitude towards the end. We started off with a tropical Maracuya drink and a Peruvian stable the Chicha Morada. Both were great the chicha was a different type of taste, not fruity or tart. I liked it, it is made from purple corn, apples, pineapple, cinnamon and star anise. My wife got a typical Colombian dish called “Bandeja Paise”. This dish is very filling as it has steak, sausage, pork rind, rice, avocado, sweet plantain, arepa, and a fried egg on top! Everything on it was cooked to perfection! I got the Chicken in mushroom sauce, comes with salad, white rice and sweet plantains. This would have been a perfect dish were it not for the fact that there was hardly any mushrooms in the dish. That was my only complaint. We will definitely be back to try more dishes especially their rotisserie chicken!

I was looking for a great Peruvian restaurant and found this one in concord. Great food and has a great family atmosphere. Highly recommended for the rotisserie Chicken and the different types of sauces. Overall had a great experience while dining in. My friend tried the bandeja paisa and loved it. So glad I found it.

CURRENT VISIT – Mochica is still THE place to go for great Peruvian food. Emily did a terrific job serving us and making us feel welcome! Soy gringo y me gusta este restaurante!
PAST VISIT – I had the Mojarra Frita ……. BIG fried tilapia with rice, plantain and salad. Included was the aji verde and aji amarilla salsa. WOW. ….. guau! It was very satisfying, solid portions and the price was very reasonable. The place is like a diner – booths and tables – clean and fresh with large screen televisions too. Service was friendly and courteous with English speaking waitresses (if needed). This place is “El Mejor!” – go there and eat. ….. buen provecho! ………. Mike

Fantastic Peruvian dishes and flavors. The ceviche was incredible and the Lomo Saltado with beef was absolutely delicious. This place is a must try if you’re not in a hurry.

I order from here using Grubhub when I’m visiting my friend in the area. The food is always cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The portion sizes for the price are reasonable. I also love that I never feel tired after eating the food. It’s nice to have a healthier alternative in the area.

This place is SO GOOD!! If you are a foodie and enjoy homemade food, this is a must try place. I saw the reviews after going (thank goodness) and I have to say my experience was nothing but AMAZING. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. This is a seat yourself restaurant but I guess one would not know just by entering. Highly recommend trying this restaurant out.

The lomo saltado and the ceviche taste like the REAL DEAL! I am Peruvian born and raised and I took someone who is coming to visit from Peru and they also agreed the quality and taste is traditional. I used to really love and enjoy this place. And the only reason im doing this review is bc too many times they have messed up me and my co workers delivery orders. When ive reached out they were extremely rude and basically called us liars! There has only been a young lady (I believe her name is Lizbeth) that actually cared and gave good cs! Today we ordered, had a co worker pick up for us… #1 my rice was not in the plate, and there was paper in my mac n cheese and the cheese was not even melted! The paper/ wrapping looks like the paper off a butter stick! They will be issuing a refund. I had hopes for this place, as me and my co workers would order (before) regularly from them.
