I had the Birria tacos. They were good and filling but could use s little more spice. The shredded chicken nachos filled the plate and were also very filling. Disappointed that we had to pay extra for jalapenos, on nachos! I’ve never had to pay for jalapenos on nachos before.
The bathrooms could use a little attention. No toilet was flushed.

Tortillas are not authentic, under cooked and cold. The house guacamole was good. The chorizo was burnt, the pork dish didn’t smell too good. The service was okay. Doubt we will be back.

Went by myself and received great service (host and waiter were friendly). I got a California Burrito and the food came out quickly and tasted great. I feel like their meat can be hit or miss, but today the chicken tasted great. A little pricey but overall great:)

Fast service, big beers, and cold margaritas. What else can you ask for. I’ve had just about everything on the menu over the last 20 years. Johns Special has been my go-to lately. Don’t pass on spicy tomatillo salsa on top. It has a kick but goes well with the dish.

This specific La Huerta on Crossover/Mission is doing really great despite this pandemic going on. My husband and I have been going here for years! We like the staff and the quality of food is darn near authentic. The first photo is Fajita Quesadilla de Cameron and the second is flautas de pollo. SO. GOOD! If you’re looking for some legit Mexican food, GO HERE!
