Decided to join a few friends on Sunday for dinner. This just so happened to be the last night of Queens Feast Restaurant Week. The server was extremely nice however he did let us know if one person wanted the restaurant week menu we would all have to order off that menu. However we could add additional apps. I was pretty disappointed with that seeing as my choice should not be forced due to someone else. None the less the service was amazing and the food was spot on. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant. And amazing place for a girls night out or date night vibe.

Best spot for my Birthday Dinner. Aaliyah was the best server! The food was amazing. The vibes and ambience were great. We got the Spinach Dip, Calamari, Espresso Martini, Filet and Mashed Potatoes. 10/10 Recommend!

PARA Charlotte was a great experience overall. The food was amazing—very flavorful and definitely worth the price. I would give the drinks another try, as what I ordered just wasn’t for my taste.
Our waitress was kind and professional while managing a large birthday party. At times she had others assist with our table, which we understood; however, this did occasionally result in longer wait times.
The lounge does offer hookah, and during our visit a guest seated nearby was smoking, which made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy our meal due to the smoke.
The vibe at PARA Charlotte is undeniable—great music, great food, and an enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely visit again.

First impressions are everything to me! I popped up for the Queens Fest and it was packed and the vibes were there but service wasn’t equally given. Seemed like groups of 3 or more were prioritized. The food came out at a reasonable time (wasn’t quite impressed), but I asked for a cocktail that I never received. And later asked for a to go back which I had no problem with but it took 25 minutes for me to get the check the place was already near closing. Anyway I may give it a try again later in the year and come back with another review.

I came in on a night where a host by the name of Jules (hopefully I’m spelling that correctly) refused to provide her full name and told me there was an hour wait. She said there were no tables available, yet I took photos showing multiple open seating options.
I checked back about twenty minutes later and was still told nothing was available. I don’t know her reasoning, but the way I was handled made me feel disregarded, and there was absolutely no customer service shown. When I asked for a manager, she responded with, “Why do you need the manager?” as if my request wasn’t valid on its own.
The atmosphere here is beautiful, and I’ve always enjoyed my experiences…. especially at the bar. But customer service starts at the door, and if it isn’t right there, it affects the entire night!!!!
That’s the reason for the lengthy review.
SN: I spoke with manager at 10:56pm who said give him five minutes to get our table ready. He showed more care & effort than her. I also want to add that the bartender at the BAR was GREAT ! We wanted food and that went unfulfilled.

Was sooo loud! Great food, attentive server, hostess was lacking a bit, but not bad. Not suitable for handicap accessibility. My wife is hearing impaired, has hearing aids which helps a lot, but they were unable to find a way to make her experience better, also no ramp for wheelchairs. So good food and pretty good service, but again, it’s LOUD. Music turned up leads to people needed to shout to talk…that is what it’s like here.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect walking in, but this place completely won me over. From the moment we sat down, the vibe just hit differently — the ambiance was warm, intimate, and really well done. The live music was the perfect touch; it added so much energy to the evening without being too loud to hold a conversation, which is a balance a lot of places get wrong.
Parking was surprisingly easy, which is always a relief before a night out. No circling the block or hunting for a spot — we were walking through the door within minutes.
Now the food — impeccable. Every dish came out beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. You could tell real care and intention went into the menu. This is the kind of meal you think about on the drive home. We ordered Jerk Chicken Carriage, Salmon, and Asian Crab cake. Delicious!
I think it’s important that other diners know: 20% gratuity is automatically added to your bill, but there is no mention of it anywhere — not on the menu, not by the server, not at checkout. I didn’t realize it until after I had already left an additional 20% tip on top. That’s money I would not have added had I known. The restaurant is wonderful and the staff absolutely deserves to be taken care of — but customers should be informed upfront. A small notice on the menu or a quick mention from the server would go a long way. Transparency matters, especially when the rest of the experience is this good.

Came here for a friend’s birthday. The ambiance was nice, my pasta tasted great, the drinks were good, and the calamari was yummy, but perhaps less peppers and more calamari next time. I’d return, though!

This was our first time here. We managed to get great seats at the bar where we recieved excellent service from Porsha. We went on a Wednesday night where they had hookahs for 1/2 off and Don Julio for $10, and Don Julio 1942 for $20. We tried out a few apps, all which are we delicious . I recommend the spinach dip, the crabcakes, the wings in Thai Chilli, and the pork dumplings! If I could’ve eaten more..I would have. Also too they had a live dj @stay.greased who was popping off 90s mixes all night! All the vibes were met here! What really sealed the deal for us was the kindness of the staff, including the GM and Owner! If you haven’t been here…you’re missing out! I strongly suggest making a reservation, it stayed packed. If you are planning a party I suggest calling, they have movable tables and they have booths, but I don’t know how many it can accommodate.

Tried Para fo the first time during restaurant week. It was a good experience. The food and the service were good. We read previous reviews and knew about the automatic 20% gratuity so it was not a problem. With that being said their is always room for human error but with automatic gratuity there should be a certain level of service to be expected. When my entree came I had to grab silverware from another table after waiting over 5 minutes for the server, they forgot the chimichurri sauce for the steak entree, and drinks were only refilled once without being asked. For those reasons I wouldn’t return but glad I did get to try it at least once.
