Went here for lunch, found out that on Saturdays offerings are fairly limited due to extended breakfast options. My wife tried the French toast with bacon and got two eggs on the side. I got the special, eggs, sausage, with hash brown casserole and we also tried the biscuits with a side of gravy. My wife liked the French toast, but it wasn’t anything special. Nthe eggs were supposed to be medium, but were closer to over easy. The sausage tasted like it came out of a freezer. The hash brown casserole tasted like funeral potatoes. The biscuits were super dry and the gravy lacked flavor. The price was fairly low at just over $20 for all that we ordered. The wait staff was nice, but took a couple times asking to get a soda, they weren’t overly busy, it you also don’t have a dedicated waitress, it’s whoever is walking by. Overall, our first experience was not to par with the majority of restaurants offering breakfast, and for the time and cost, w could cook any of these at home and it would taste better.

Went for breakfast, portions were good. Gravy was bland, biscuits were a bit stale. Western Omlet had more cheese than other ingredients. Bathrooms were clean. Had to flag down a waitress for a coffee refill. Hashbrown Casserole should be called Cheesey Hash Browns

We come here on a super busy Saturday morning with the farmers market in town and everything was wonderful. We had an omelet and hot cakes but the hashbrown casserole was AMAZING! We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for an awesome breakfast!

Had the worst service. Ordered and waited 40 minutes no food. People came in after got there food. Waitress came over and said there was a rush that everyone came in at one time. Just tell me the truth you lost my ticket. I can handle the truth. Then one person eanted me to pay for the drinks.

Chicken and dumplings were fantastic, the sweet potato casserole was delicious, and the green beans tasted like my Momma’s home-canned ones. I will make it a point to return to the gem SOON!!

I had the lunch pork roast. It’s just old time country diner food in a cozy little downtown. The brownie with ice cream looked very tempting.

Me and my friend went here last year and food was good we went Sunday and that was the worst food we ever ate in our life sorry to be that way but aweful even the fried okra which is free was old and hard and we was there when they open the door the country fried steak I think that what it was taste like something out of the freezer department at the grocery store hash browns casserole was no flavor the tomato pie made both of us wanting to throw up the only thing that taste half way ok was the devil eggs the service was ok but she keep asking us over and over like she couldn’t hear us or something I don’t know but anyways we was very disappointed

AMAZING down home cooking!!! And the food was literally at our table in less than 5 minutes after we ordered. Portions are HUGE and prices are CHEAP. We went on a Wednesday and both got free dessert of peach cobbler and coconut pecan pie. 100% recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and tasty place.

Great ice cream shop with lots of flavors of ice cream to choose from. They give free sprinkles, whipped cream & a cherry. The girls that work in the shop are real sweet. They said we could try any favor we wanted.

Terrible food, terrible service.
I’ve never been asked what eggs “over well” are…
Cold hash brown casserole. Biscuit tasted like a dry sponge.
Recommend going to the other place across the street.
