Cajun boil is established in 2017, offers the freshest seafood in Minneapolis. And is a great place to hang out with families and friends. Restaurant offers a variety of seafood choices both fried and in a Cajun based boil. Also offers non-seafood items, like Cajun wings, chicken tenders and fries, etc. We serve domestic and imported beers along with white wines and red wines. The waitress / cashier/ greeter was on point. Was nice to see someone handling life and not being handled by life. Was extremely happy that the food was on point. Been to several local seafood boils and the wife has not been happy. But I’m here birthday this one came through. Responsible pricing and was chill for lower Franklin area ( if you know, u know). It’s a for me and mine.

Really seasoned well ordered the boiling special seasoning and spicy which as a Korean and my boyfriend being Mexican we both were sweating torqards the end but it was a still enjoyable at least for us because we do love spicy food! The pricing seemed reasonable and the employees were nice! The vibe would be good for a family or friends!

I ordered fried shrimp and catfish combo with Cajun fries. I enjoyed it a lot. My friends had the boiled options, and they mentioned getting less food than they expected for the price, but the consensus was it all tasted good. One note: everyone seemed to agree that you probably want to order one level higher spice than you think you will want because it’s not as hot as you might expect from Cajun food even in Minnesota

The food was ok. My kid loved the boil she ordered. The seafood fried rice was like they dribbled raw vegetable oil on the rice and stirred it in with onions and shrimp. That, along with the recipe for the crab cakes and fried oysters needs improvement. The sweet potatoes fries were good. The lobster was good too. I probably won’t go back there but might order some food from there; this is only because of the subpar nature of the atmospheric aesthetics .

The staff was very helpful. We had never been to a seafood boil before and they walked us through what the options are and what they recommend. We ordered blue crab and shrimp with all sauces, not spicy. Loads of flavor and I loved the sauce. Corn was super sweet and potatoes were delicious. This was definitely a treat but, the atmosphere was lacking.

Honestly the only thing I’ve gotten here was the shrimp and Cajun fries. My daughter too. But the people are nice. Seems like people enjoy the boils as every time we’re there numerous people are having them. The fried shrimp is excellent. Might as well give it a go. Ain’t crazy expensive so it’s not like you’ll completely regret it. But you probably won’t. Bathroom was fine when I was there.

Very rude and unprofessional, disrespectful towards customers and took 1 hour and half to bring the food out.. they don’t give you sauce they give you oil.
