We have been wanting to try this steakhouse for months. Finally had the chance to get in. Approached the front desk at 5:30 on a Tuesday the restaurant was empty but outside bar looked moderately busy We were told there was an hour wait? I looked at the hostess confused and said the restaurant looks empty . The manager quickly said oh we will seat you now. We were seated right by kitchen. We were provided a wine list and menus. The waiter came over took our order and then brought drinks. When the steaks came they forgot the steak knives and other silverware so we waited until they returned with that to eat. The steak was good while it was chard it was not well seasoned. The suggestion of the special of the fingerling potatoes with truffle potatoes were extremely dry and overcooked. The broccolini was just OK. We had a couple glasses of wine at $18 a glass for a Moscato. It was a little high priced but that’s the environment. We ordered two desserts, the Keylime pie and the crème brûlée. They were good. And the coffee was average. Overall, for a higher end meal, the food and service was just not worth it. The waiter was occupied with a very large party table so we didn’t get the attentiveness that a high-end restaurant should provide. There are many other places to choose from so I would say this was a one time visit

Beautiful restaurant in the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino in AC. We had a great time and loved the atmosphere! The service felt special. 100% recommend the salads to start, the best Caesar and Cobb salad we ever had!
For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and the cream was the best I ever had.

We had a good experience here from the time we sat down to the time we left.
We weren’t rushed nor did it take an unreasonable time between the courses.
The wait staff were very attentive, polite and check up regularly.
I had a filet and it was cooked to my liking.
Drinks were strong. Kids enjoyed the deserts as well.
It’s in AC so of course everything is a bit expensive as expected. I think it was worth it.

We had an amazing dinner at Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, Atlantic City !
The filet mignon, shrimp scampi, and lobster were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly.
A special thank you to our server Victor, who made my birthday dinner extra special with his warm service and great attitude.
Thank you to the whole team — we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Was excited to have a great filet and lobster tail. We sat down at 735pm. Food didn’t arrive 9:20pm. The only reason we didn’t leave was because we were so hungry by this point.
On top of the lateness, what they served us was NOT a filet. It was an over cooked burnt piece of “something” they tried to pass off as a filet mignon. I suspect a brisket. And this was a slow Monday night !!

Our reservation for 5 was at 7:30p we arrived on time and we were seated promptly. We asked for a certain waiter who had waited on us before. Our waiter came to our table, greeted us and took our order after giving us time to decide on our menu choices. The waiter brought our drinks, a few minutes later a bread platter was delivered and then our waiter disappeared… for an hour! I called over to wait staff walking by our table, she came over and I asked for our waiter. She came back and advised the manager is coming. The manager informed the head of our table that our food ticket was lost and that it had just been found and our meals are being prepared now. NOW?? Our first course, soup and salad was served at 9pm. Our main dish came to us at 9:30p. We didn’t get out of there until almost 10pm!! It was a typical Friday night, it’s always busy there, nothing out of the ordinary. I was astonished when the waiter handed the head of our table the bill. What he should have done was comp the entire dinner. At no time did our waiter come to us and say I am so sorry. I lost your order. When our waiter handed the bill to the head of our table he should have said it is my mistake and to make up this up to you your dinner is on me with my compliments”. Not even the manager did anything!! To be quite frank the dinner was mediocre at best not worth an over $600 bill!! The Management should have comped either the beverages or the dinner, something. They did NOTHING! My friends and I have talked about this and we agree that Council oak steaks & seafood has lost five guests, we won’t be back. Very poor performance and conduct by this establishment.

Council Oak was a very nice experience but be prepared to pay top dollar. The service was excellent and so was the food. We had the dry aged prime rib special, surf & turf, and scallops. The steak was delicious, the lobster was the best I’ve ever tasted. However the (4) scallops were disappointing. They had a smoky flavor to them and were seared only on one side, and the pea puree was nothing to write home about (Just smashed peas). I personally like my scallops seared on both sides not one side gelatinous.
The sides were large enough for 2 people. We had the special jersey corn w jalapeño & feta cheese. This was tasty and the baked potato was supersized (the largest I’ve ever seen). The sides were about $13 each. Everything is À la cart. This was a great experience but for the cost; you can do better somewhere else.
We also ordered the colossal crab meat appetizer which they delivered after they put our entrées down on the table, so the waiter suggested we just put it on our steak.
This a side note the chairs at the table were very heavy and difficult to move but super comfortable. I could see this being an issue for an older person trying to get in and out of during dinner.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. Excellent use of space, the tables are far apart and not on top of each other. The tables along the windows have a nice view of the boardwalk. We had a good view of the ferris wheel.
The table bread was cut into 4 small rolls, and was reminiscent of a warm, buttered pretzel.
We ordered appetizers: Burrata and prosciutto and Wagyu meatballs. Both were excellent. The meatballs melted in my mouth, and the salad couldn’t have been better. My only thing with the meatballs, a little too much garlic.
For our meals: 10oz A5 Wagyu and the specialty, Grilled Salmon. This particular cut off Wagyu was a little too fatty for me, but my wife LOVED it!
And get salmon was marvelous, an easy 10 in her book.
Both sides: the baked potato and broccolini were both fantastic. Would easily order both again.
Our waitress Victoria and our assistant Jhon were both knowledgeable and fast with service.
Overall, a great first experience at this location. Will definitely come back again.

Dinner reservations for 5pm on a busy Saturday evening. Party of 4…received a $500 comp by my casino host. (Yes, I’m a high roller and enjoy best life has to offer) Ordered drinks and apps, service was 5 stars. Wedge iceberg salad and clam chowder were the bomb !! Place order for meals, 2 aged filets, seafood pot and marinated skirt steak, cream spinach and lobster mac and cheese. All food was cooked to perfection !! I even asked for a horseradish cream sauce which they provide with meals. 5 desserts to go and we headed to show. Probably one of the best tasting steakhouses I’ve been to. Left large tip and thanked manager Alex for a wonderful meal.
