We are a local small business, but not your average mom and pop venue. We are located on the Marion square in a renovated historical building. We serve modern takes on classic dishes from around the world and have rotating specials daily. Everything is fresh and meticulously selected by our Chef and Pastry Chef who also own the business. Our team is our pride and we are some of the best around! We love what we do and try to show that through all that we do. We hope you will join us. It was the finale of the Christmas weekend, the lady an I had reservations early evening. We never really dress up anymore so this was a good opportunity to do so. Upon arrival we were seated at the bar while we waited for our table. The bar was very spacious, and welcoming. The seats were really comfortable and the bartenders were all on top of their game. When the time came to go to our table we were alerted by the hostess and was sat at a nice booth. Our server came out and was very polite and attentive. We ordered Steak and Salmon and a order of crab cakes. Everything came out as it should. Steak cooked to a perfect medium as requested, the Salmon was large and flaky as it should be and the Crab Cakes were moist and very tender. This was our first time ever trying Seasonings and would like to say you all knocked it out of the park. Thank you for making our outing wonderful, Thank you for the awesome experience and the very delicious food. We will be back.

Fantastic food, great service, bright & fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed everything we had:
– Wagyu Meatballs: that sauce!!
– Pork Shank w cherry compote w mashed potatoes & pork jus: unexpectedly delicious combination of flavors!
– Fried Chicken Thighs (OMG!!) over Gouda Grits w sweety peppers: gotta find these little sweet drop peppers in the store!
– Butterscotch Roister – go it To Go to eat with my coffee the next morning (too full to eat there) but I did have one little bite last night & you have to get it!
The complimentary bread & butter (2 types: 1 was garlicky & 1 cinnamon) – both amazing as well as the sourdough bread!
We were staying in Creal Springs for the weekend & wanted some where nice to celebrate our anniversary & the Seasoning Bistro knocked it out of the park. We live 1.5 hours away & have already talked about driving up just to eat here again!

I’m gonna keep this one short. Just go. Run, dont walk. ♀️ ♂️ Just go there, order ANYTHING! The Shrimp Scampi and the Teriyaki Salmon…..to die for!⚰️ I have NEVER tasted ‘s that had sooooo much flavor when added as an ingredient.
I normally don’t indulge in alcohol, but the Basic Witch had me under her spell… ♀️

I am a devotee of the Bistro Cult. This is hands down, the absolute BEST restaurant in the Southern Illinois region. The atmosphere is vibrant and hip. The dining room spacious and clean. Every time we go we receive amazing service and even better food. Let me tell you, the filet mignon, the knife is only there for decor, cuz you can cut it with a spoon! Melts like butter in your mouth. And it’s not a hit or miss situation like with other restaurants. It’s EVERY single time. The food is expertly prepared and presented. The bar and food specials are specially curated and you can tell the care that goes into both. There is nothing like Seasoning Bistro in this area. We are so lucky to have such a culinary art gallery in our midst. Glory Be to the Bistro. Service has never looked so good! 😉

It’s rare I give 5 stars. Seasoning bistro deserves it. We were in town for a couple of days. We started at a retractor’s the street but I wanted small plates and no fried food. We were greeted so nicely. We didn’t have a reservation it it only took five min or less to get a table. I absolutely loved the great decor. Immediately saw the meatballs appetizer and I was intrigued. I asked if they were baked or fried. Our waiter indicated baked. Let me tell you, these were the best meatballs I think I’ve ever had. Sauce tasted fresh and homemade. The meatballs were sooo moist. I wanted to take a straw to that sauce lol. I savored every bite. I think these were the star of the show. Got the chicken tacos. I wish it was in twos instead of 3..bigger than an appetizer. Was confused on pricing because it said 7/9 and we got billed 13? Oh well, no biggie. Tacos were real good. Loved the quality of the corn tortillas. We had dessert which is rare for us. Spouse saw crème brûlée and he immediately said yes. I got the raspberry cheesecake. It was such a pleasant surprise to see the waiter, at our table, torch the brûlée in front of us. Was sooo cool. Everything was amazing but definitely the star were the meatballs. I love a limited menu because that means the staff can make those few dishes amazing instead of concentrating on 50+ dishes. Love love love this restaurant. A true amaaazing EXPERIENCE! Keep up the good work!

We did not have reservations, we were still promptly seated. Had a wonderful waitress who explained the specials. Our drink orders were taken. When she returned we gave our dinner order. I chose the Chicken Marsala with the Browned Butter Broccoli as the side. We chose the Fried Mushrooms with Tangy Horseradish Sauce and Smokey Chipotle Ranch Sauce as an appetizer. The appetizer and sauces were delicious. Very reasonable wait time for our dinner. I was very impressed with the Chicken Marsala. Chicken was very tender, and the Marsala sauce was perfect. The Browned Butter Broccoli was perfectly cooked and seasoned. A great little gem located on Benton Square.

Last night we went to Seasoning Bistro in Marion for dinner, date night, mother’s day. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Troy Ray and Katie Karcher have out done themselves. Everything is top notch. From the exterior of the restaurant to the relaxing patio out back it is amazing. We started off with the Bread and butter which consisted of house made hot fresh baguettes with house made cinnamon butter and garlic and herb butter. That was the best cinnamon butter I’ve ever had. I ordered the Pork Ribeye and Melissa had the Shrimp Scampi. The Pork Ribeye was so tender you could cut it with your fork. The house bacon jam was just the right extra flavor. Melissa’s Shrimpi Scampi with house made noodles was so flavor and delicious. Then we finished the meal off with creme brulee. I’ve never had creme brulee before and OH MY GOD, I wanted to lick the bowl clean. It was absolutely delicious!!!!!
If you have never been to Seasoning Bistro I HIGHLY Recommend it you will NOT be disappointed!!! I recommend you call and make a reservation.

Absolutely stellar experience! The food, service, and drinks at Seasoning Bistro were all top-notch. I had the Chicken Marsala with brown butter broccoli and a baked potato — every bite was incredible. The drink special, “You’re Killing Me Shmalls,” was just as amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening. Definitely one of the best dining spots in Marion!
