The service staff is super friendly, prices are very reasonable, and we’ve never experienced a delay being seated in their dining room or lounge areas. Fast friendly service! Large screen TV in (lounge only) will keep sports fans happy, and NY Lottery QuickDraw is available as well.
All in all a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dining experience!
The hostess (I believe her name was Caitlin) was extremely rude about it and said it was a “huge difference” from two to three people. After the manager agreed to seat us, she threw the third menu on the table and walked away. She also went to our server and clearly made comments about us, which was very uncomfortable.
The food is always excellent, but the attitude and lack of professionalism from the hostess completely ruined the experience. Very disappointing, especially on a special night.
The GOOD: Eggplant parm is delicious! Never disappoints in the years I’ve gone. Nachos are huge!!! So yummy! Prices are fair for the quality you get. They haven’t priced gouged due to inflation yet. That says something about their awesome management. Staff is attentive, kind, & the spot is always clean and kept well. Food is always hot. Beer is always cold.
The SHAMEFUL: I don’t have anything! The restaurant is consistently amazing. I would really love to see it renovated. It could be a stunner if we could see from inside the Mountain View it has to honor its name. Huge opportunity for untapped growth by fixing up the place. If you’re looking for investors to renovate- hit me up!
Great job guys! KEEP IT UP!
The pizza is delicious, definitely one of the better options in Sullivan/Orange County area. However, what prompted this review is something I couldn’t help but take pictures of, and the smell alone was exciting. The real treat is the Chicken Parm Sub, every part of it. The bread is perfectly toasted and a generous size, as well as the cutlets perfectly fried/baked and a generous portion of 2 cutlets. You will not find a single dry bite of chicken or bread. It has a perfect balance of sweet and salty, and I’ve had my fair share of flavorless chicken parms. I would like a little more flavor in the chicken’s breading maybe, bc the sauce is definitely complex enough- that being said, even as a city-transplant this is by far one of the best parms I’ve ever had in my life yet. They lather the cheese and sauce so that you can hardly stop yourself from devouring it in one sitting, although it’s hard to do due to the amount of food this is.
A whopping sandwich at an incredible price leaving you feeling satisfied and full.
