The bar itself looked cute although we didn’t actually eat there. We went to the bar but were then directed to go next door to get the food.
We ordered the pierogi pizza and it was pretty good. It comes with 6 slices of pizza and has a nice crust to it. No complaints on the pizza itself as it was very good but it does cost $20 and we felt it could be bigger for that price.
Overall it was a fine experience and the food itself was pretty good just a bit overpriced for what you get in terms of size of pizza. We split it though so that could be why.
One of the bartenders went into detail about the drinks and the stories behind them, and was very attentive and helpful.
The interior design of the place is really fantastic and well thought out, with a colorful yet classy, cozy atmosphere.
Oh wait, I did have on of the desserts which was really pretty and quite tasty.
The building shares a small space with Natalies next door (bathrooms are in Natalies). Additionally space is limited, so i recommend a reservation.
Food and drinks aren’t extremely cheap, but they are crafted with care and absolutely worth the price.
We tried four cocktails, all were unique, inspired, and delicious. The Caffeine and Casein ($17) was creamy and indulgent (but not too much!) and was served with a wedge of pecorino- such a delight!
The Pimpinella ($14) gets its mysterious, green jewel tone presumably from the chlorophyll it contains, and perfectly balances the absinthe at the finish.
Journey Destination ($15) was a standout – the oaty, bready notes were distinct and surprising, accented by a salt rim.
Under the Nose ($21) was deep dark, and accurately described by bartender Genevieve as “moody.” Completely wonderful.
If good times and great cocktails are things you enjoy, then this is the spot for you.
