For the Valentine Day for my wife and daughter. Took into consideration of this particular restaurant. New Name and owners but the food as I remembered still delicious. Ordered chicken fajitas as my wife ordered the special and my little girl had a quesadilla with rice. In remembrance of what homemade rice and beans felt like in this day and age, I say good good. The oil of the fajitas is really good, the portions for the prices are good as well. Something a lot of restaurants have undoubtedly adjusted and even their ingredients for the food they once had capitalized on. Luckily, this restaurant still holds the almost authenticity of food, and ingredients going into the food for customers to enjoy. My humble advice would only be don’t get more chips and dips when waiting on the food, otherwise you’ll end up with taking it home .

Food was much better than I was expecting! Drinks were good, I love that they have a happy hour. It was clean, our service was good, and food tasted fresh. I wish the overall atmosphere was a bit more cozy (something is missing there), but overall I recommend stopping in!

Our group dines here. They are great about our large group. The food is good and the services is excellent. I always order the table side quacamole. It’s fabulous. We enjoy the fajitas too. A very generous serving. I highly recommend this restaurant

There have been some mixed reviews and this restaurant is amazing so I’d like to set the record straight. Firstly, margaritas were $12.45, not $20 as others have claimed. The food was also awesome and the servings were very generous with tons of succulent beef and chicken. The server was very friendly and it’s a nice place. Don’t hesitate to drop in, it rules!

Ambiance:
Classic Mexican restaurant vibes. Tables and booths. Chill.
Service:
Friendly greeting as we walked thru the door. A little under staffed so getting starting took a little longer than normal. But once we ordered, refills on drinks and chips and salsa and beans were all on point.
Food Quality:
Chips were better than most but not the best by any means. Salsa was good enough and even had a little spice to it. Rice and beans were pretty average. Grilled chicken was flavorful and not dry. The standout was the chipotle crema on the shrimp, mushrooms, and onions. Very good.
Value for Money:
We split the plate and still had leftovers. With sodas and all it was about $20 per person. Average these days it seems.
Overall Experience:
Favorite local spot. Exactly what I was wanting / expecting. Recommended

Their table side guacamole is absolutely killer! Best salsa we have had at a Mexican restaurant in a long time – could put it on everything. The staff is so friendly and attentive which makes the experience even better. Will be back again and again.

My husband and I just tried this place for the first time and the food was really good. We just moved back to WA state after living in San Diego for the past 10 years, and it’s the best Mexican food we’ve had since moving back. I had the quesabirria and the husband had chile relleno and a tamal. Very delicious, we will definitely be back.

The night of the power outage we needed something to eat and most of the area was dead. They were absolutely slammed being one of the only places open and they still rocked it! Food was excellent and service would have been decent under normal circumstances so I’m extra impressed!
