The new location is awesome! Service was fast and friendly and we were checked on frequently. The food is always delicious. I recommend the corned beef hash (not pictured this visit) I got the country fried steak this visit and it was good but nothing beats their corned beef hash. One thing I noticed was how clean the place was. No one was sitting around, two employees were using a quiet vacuum to ensure cleanliness.

First time at new location. Wow! We loved the old place on Main, and were worried that the new bigger and busier location could keep the speed and quality up…we were wrong! Fantastic as always. It delivers exactly what it promises! My wife and I split a country fried steak breakfast(don’t judge) and it was perfect. Service was great. Consistent experience like always. We went to Ramblin Roads as our second choice when the first choice has a long wait. This should have been the first choice! We went between breakfast and lunch so I ordered the Berry crepe special that came with eggs bacon and hash browns, while the hubby went for a BLT with tator tots. Both were excellent. Perfect hash browns are hard to find but these were pretty darn close. The crepe was super delicious and the eggs cooked to perfection. The hubby’s BLT was also really good but the tots may have been the best part of his meal. We’d definitely choose this place again.

We recently discovered Ramblin Roads and can I say how happy we are with them. We’ve eaten there three times now and have not been disappointed. Their portion sizes are on the bigger side. The food has all tasted very good! Their white country gravy is really tasty. We have had the same server all three times and she is funominal. We will continue to dine here for sure! The only thing we were not big fans of is their restroom facilities, they are really showing their age and need to be upgraded and or remodeled. Even that won’t stop us from going there.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramblin’ Roads Restaurant in Layton, and I must say, I was super impressed! From the moment I walked in, the country feel atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is charming and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a cozy meal.
Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s always refreshing to encounter such friendly and efficient service.

We ordered pancakes, a Denver omelet, and corned beef hash, and I can confidently say that everything tasted wonderful. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making our meal feel extra special.
However, the true star of the show for me was the homemade strawberry “jelly.” Oh my goodness, it was absolutely divine! It added a delightful touch to our pancakes and truly elevated the entire dining experience.

We are visiting from out if town and staying at the Best Western right next door. We have had two amazing meals at this restaurant. Very family friendly, good kids options and great for for the adults as well. We particularly enjoyed the ribs for dinner, and Philly cheese steak and French dip sandwiches. Also very friendly service.

I had the Reuben with tater tots was super tasty and had quite a bit of meat My friend had the bacon burger she said it was great and also had a good portion of meat. We did not eat in we got it to go so I get the atmosphere of four it looked nice and clean on the inside service was fast when I got there they had the food ready for me to pick up and they picked up the phone for the order quite quick.

What more can I say about this place other than FANTASTIC! First off, our server, Sam. If you get her as your server, consider yourself absolutely lucky! She was so very kind and professional to this local guide.
The food here was great! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken with a salad that was so fresh you’d probably slap your momma! The salad was served in a chilled plate which was not expected at this price point if I’m being honest. The Chicken Fried Chicken was prepared perfectly, seasoned perfectly and so very crunchy even with the peppery country gravy on top. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade, though I couldn’t swear to it, but they were creamy and a little bit chunky, and delicious! Even the corn on the plate surprised me, especially when I found out that it was frozen; it did not taste like it! And I can’t forget about the delicious Lemon Meringue Pie.
It is rare to find a place that serves comfort food that also has a liqueur license, but these guys do and offer a full array of drinks from beer to about anything else.
These guys are doing a great job here and I will be coming back!
