My wife and I consider ourselves pizza fanatics. Since our first date back in 1976 we have tried hundreds of pizza spots across the northeast. Almost 50 years of weekend pizza adventures. Lazaro’s is worthy of being added to our regular rotation list ! Excellent Grandma’s pie. Tasty sauce, cheese and a light airy crust. Generous toppings. Cooked perfectly. Very friendly and accomadating owner and staff. We certainly will make a return trip across the RVW from Columbia County.

Pizza and Raviolis were good but not great. Sauce was strange. Garlic bread was the worst I have ever seen or had in my life. Very long wait. The food was far overpriced for the quality.

Friendly service and delicious pizza. My wife ordered a large pizza (she wanted left overs). I order the Meat Stromboli. Both were well prepared and fresh out of the oven. There Garlic knots were delicious. They also have a large selection of Hispanic grocery items.

The BEST pizza between Catskill, Hudson and Athens. The crust is thin, crisp and chewy. The sauce is a little spicy and full of flavor. Wish there was a little more pepperoni… Highly Recommended!!

What a great little find! We were traveling with 12 people and couldn’t decide on lunch. This is your standard pizza and sub shop, except they have excellent Mexican food like enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and more. We mostly got the Mexican and it was fantastic. Friendly service and a great little place to eat before hopping back on the road.

Excellent pizza shop! I went here twice this week for take out! The cheese and pepperoni were both great pies! Great taste and excellent New York style thin crust. The garlic knots were flavorful but a bit tough.
The service was the stand out! The gentleman on the phone was friendly and answered quickly, gave me a price and pick-up time, and confirmed my call before ending my call. I was a little early for pick-up and they kept me updated on my order. Once my order was out he also lifted the pie lids so I could confirm my order.
Overall, tasty and friendly! Highly recommended!

Been coming here regularly for almost 8 months now. The food is very good. Pizza is always hot. I appreciate that they give you a pick up time which seems to correlate to when the food is coming out of the oven. Not like another place down the street where they tell you 45 minutes and you get there and the pizza is luke warm at best after sitting on top of the oven for 20 minutes. Tasty dinners. The staff always repeats the order so they don’t get it wrong. It is refreshing. They also seem to really appreciate the customers business. The way it should be with all places. Sadly it’s not the case with some. Keep up the good food and friendly service.

I have searched far and wide for a thin and crispy in the Catskill area and the best place I found was slices in saugerties until I tried one here. They have it down to a science!! The crust doesn’t fall when you pick up a slice and you can taste the freshness. The service is always friendly and exceptional. Their BIRRAS tacos are also 10 outta 10 and these little Mexican muffins they make are good to take hike for a snack. They close very early on Sundays
