I am very pleased with my stay today at Taj India restaurant in Manchester NH. Today is Sunday and they have their Sunday buffet. I absolutely love this concept and the food is just phenomenal. The energy that it gives brings pure joy and peaceful vibes. It’s just very calm and relaxing. Very refreshing and the food is 10/10. The servers have been very nice and welcoming. Checking in with me every so often and making sure everyone is all set! A great restaurant and Sunday is a wonderful day to come and try a bunch of different dishes. 🙂

The amount of food was a great value because we had enough leftovers for another meal. The presentation was great and the curry was very rich and satisfying. We drove past a number of closer Indian restaurants to eat here because it’s better cuisine. Service was perfect, and they made our anniversary dinner extra special.

Food was really good, service was above average and attentive, wait time on point, wasn’t busy, place was clean, price was fair. I would absolutely come back here any time I’m in Manchester! Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food considering this restaurant is in Dowtown Manchester, NH- not exactly where I would expect to get good quality Indian cuisine. Taj definitely delivered! We had the Veggie Samosas for appetizers; I had the Fish Korma for entree and she had the Channa Masala (chickpeas) for her entree and we shared garlic Nan! Food was delicious 8-8.5/10!

I used to order previously from classic biriyani but, recently i began to order from taj. It is 1000 times great than classic biryani restaurant. The food here comes fresh to me and in classic, every time i feel like frozen food was re heated and served to me. I am a vegetarian and ordered paneer biriyani here now more than 4 times and the paneer is fresh and softly cooked. Great. Also the quantity is very impressive. The food is over priced but, it is okay to pay for that quantity and quality.

Really enjoyed my first visit here. The menu is clearly marked to show what is gluten free, which was great. They had a big selection and all three dishes we tried were excellent. My only suggestion would be to ask for the items to have less salt – it was a lot even for prepared food. Will be back!

So delicious and very reasonable prices! We got matar paneer, dal makhani, and naan. We chose medium spiciness, which was just right. Rice comes with the meal and the serving sizes were generous. Naan was fluffy and buttery. Overall good service. Great atmosphere with chandelier and white seats.

Food was great! Haven’t been here in years. I’m kind of surprised it off the entire menu, their chicken plates, don’t come with basmati rice… their fish dishes did, but not their chicken? Had to order it on the side

The food was quite bland. Maybe they are catering to the New England palette. I have found better value at other restaurants in the area. If you are trying Indian food for the first time this might suit you, but realize this isn’t the normal flavor. Real Indian food has a spiciness that makes you sweat. The herbs are not so homogenized and burst with flavor when you crush them with your teeth. Those complex flavors are what makes this food so different.

The staff are very helpful, and I’m glad to say they have a spice level between mild and regular! Very handy if you want to build your spice tolerance and enjoy Indian food all at once. The chicken mango was amazing, and the naan has a fantastic texture. This is my go-to Indian place!
