I stumbled into Boardwalk Pizza completely by accident while returning something to the The UPS Store nearby—so first off, kudos on the location.
From the outside and inside, it looks exactly like what you’d expect from a classic New York–style pizzeria: casual, slice-ready, dine-in or grab-and-go. Being from New York myself, I admit I’m a bit of a pizza snob. I have standards.
I grabbed a simple slice just to test the waters: cheese and ricotta, no red sauce. For me, the real test is always the dough. If the dough is right, the rest usually follows.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The crust was super thin—true New York thin—and honestly delicious. Light, properly proofed, flavorful, and most importantly, not swampy, which is something Florida pizza unfortunately struggles with sometimes. The structure, texture, and flavor were spot-on for what I’d expect from a New York slice.
The slice itself could have been a little bigger, but the price was very reasonable (under $5), so it still felt fair.
Because I went with such a simple slice, I didn’t really get the chance to judge their sauce or the full topping lineup. But based on the quality of the dough alone, I’m sold enough to come back and explore more of the menu.
For a random stop that turned into a pleasant surprise, Boardwalk Pizza passed the New Yorker test—and that’s not something I say lightly.

Such a fun small town feel. I take my son here often and he loves the gluten free pizza. The staff are amazing and the openish kitchen design is reminiscent of a NYC pizzeria.

Been a customer for 15 years and I’ve watched it steadily go downhill over the last 5. I’m done now. Just got a Stromboli that had almost no meat. 2 tablespoons of sausage and a few slices of pepperoni, 85% dough. The previous time got a meatball sub, not even enough meatballs to fill the roll. This is really sad. At this point just close up and find a better way to make money.

Our students at camp were fueled this week by the delicious pasta on Tuesdays and fresh pizza on Fridays from Osceola Boardwalk Pizza. The meals weren’t just tasty but they also brought smiles, energy, and a sense of community to every table. Thank you for being part of our students amazing journey at GEMS Camp. Your support means more than just a meal!

Well, me and my husband were pretty disappointed, the pizza just didn’t have much sauce at all so it was really really dry. Maybe it’s a bad day but this was our first time trying Boardwalk.
And we didn’t realize they were large pizzas but that was on us lol I got a double dough pizza with meatball, chicken, bacon and sausage and my husband got a deluxe pizza with a lot of toppings lol
We might try this place again and ask for extra sauce?

I ordered a large Greek dinner salad with 4 knots to go. I was charged $20??? I was surprised at the cost, but I figured that this must be some big salad perhaps. I opened the bag at home and saw a tiny little basic salad that should cost around $4.99, with no meat, a little feta and 4 hard stale knots. It was mostly lettuce. I wouldn’t have minded paying $7.99 total for this, but $20!!! I felt ripped off. I won’t be back.

I ordered five pizzas for the Super Bowl and I was very disappointed. Every time I order from them they had been consistent but this time they were “Way Off”off. The pizzas basically had no cheese. I felt let I let my guest down but this will be the last time I order from them. Very Disappointed!

Pizza was AWFUL and the manager was a JERK! We’ve ordered takeout from there before and food was so so at best but it was convenient. Tonight the pizza was full of bubbles, the crust was twice as thick as normal and there was barely any cheese. I called and they were RUDE. Said there was nothing they could do and tried to hang up. I brought it back and was courteous but the manager was OBNOXIOUS. I felt bad for the young cashier who received a terrible lesson in how to run a business.

I recently visited Boardwalk Pizza and I must say, I was extremely disappointed. The food was disgusting. The garlic knots were hard, stale, and didn’t taste fresh. The slices of pizza were overpriced and didn’t taste fresh either. It was a complete waste of money. However, my server Noah was the one bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience. He was great – very attentive and made sure my drink was always full. The only positive aspect aside from Noah’s service was that the restaurant appeared well-kept and clean. However, this didn’t make up for the subpar quality of the food. Overall, it was a highly disappointing experience and I would not recommend Boardwalk Pizza to anyone.

I used to love to go to this place but this time around I ordered a meatball’s sub, and it was eleven or so dollars and had only three meatballs in it! What the? And besides that, there was almost no sauce. Really? Unfirtunately I took this home 6 or so miles before opening it up. So I had paid $11 plus for a dry, skimpy meatball parmesana hoagie from these people. I don’t know what’s happened to them but most likely I will not be back. By the way I also ordered a pizza which was ok. I wish them well but someone there needs to realize this type of subperformace and shoddy product will only lose custoners.
