Today 8/4/2025 My husband returned home with dinner after a 25 minute wait for fresh chicken. We get home open the box to golden chicken on top of the paper after we removed the paper we were in shocked to see this garbage. They knownly gave us this trash!! You can tell by the difference in color this was not OK. I called after the 7th attempt a lady picked up. I explained to her the problem and she informed me they don’t do refunds I will have to bring it in in the morning. so what I can’t feed my children, because you can’t give the customer what they paid for?! I’m beyond angry I will contact corporate and email these images and post them to social media. How dare you take advantage of your customers hard earned money because you have a limit on waste.

Food is good and reasonably priced. The 12 piece chicken was $24.99, which isn’t to bad for $2.08 a piece. The sweet and heat sauce is $0.75 each extra. Which I feel is a little overpriced.
Popcorn shrimp was fresh and good. It has a mini kick to it for spicy.
Drive through more busy than in restaurant. Overall good and quick service.

This is as close to the taste of Southern fried chicken as I’ve found in MN. Prices are on the higher side for fast food, but it’s worth it in my estimation. My favorite thing to order is the 3 piece wing meal. It isn’t on the menu, but they will give it to you if you ask for it. The dinner room was closed when I was there. The drive through window was open, and curbside pickup was open. The employee I spoke with didn’t know if the dinner room was close temporarily or permanently.

Awful service. Horrible chicken. The menu is also deceiving on the combos. It says “combos come with reg side, biscuit and drink”. And then in very fine print, that you can hardly see even if you’re looking for it, it says “combos 1, 2 & 3 don’t come with biscuit”… That’s bait and switch. You cant advertise that combos come with something and then in a different spot say that only some combos come with certain items. We both ordered combos #1 expecting a biscuit. We didn’t get the biscuits so we asked and nobody could understand what I was saying, they hardly speak english. The finally pointed to the fine print. One chicken sandwich was good. The other was inedible. Extremely tough piece of small chicken. You can see in the photo how small the chicken was compared to the bun. That’s an empty bun that was left. The fries and coleslaw were fine. I will never go to another Popeyes. The bait and switch on the menu is what did it for me. That’s not a mistake or maybe an employee having a bad day or bad luck with a piece of chicken. That’s corporate greed.

Although Popeyes has been there for a few years, decided to finally give it a try. Ordered the Cajun Flounder Sandwich Large Combo w/ fries, 2pcs Spicy Signature Chicken meal w/ coleslaw, 3pcs Chocolate Beignet, and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I felt disappointed with the food. There was hardly any tartar sauce in the fish sandwich and it had a really strong fish taste. The fries were great! The chicken sandwich wasn’t moisture and soft like I’d imagined; a tad dry. The beignet are very tiny; would be better with no chocolate IMO. The 2pcs chicken is decent, but the biscuit is bland and hard. Coleslaw tastes like it’s missing something; needs more salt or something. I would still choose KFC over Popeyes. And I would get McDonald’s fish sandwich over Popeyes’ fish sandwich. Overall, Popeyes is okay. The workers are kind and polite. They also got the order together in a good amount of time for drive thru. I wouldn’t be going there any time soon. Their chicken sandwich isn’t something to fight over, like in the past news.

Love their chicken. The person who took the order from a drive thru asked me if I wanted to make my order 1/2 spicy and 1/2 original which I never order like that before or even been asked for.
The staff is nice and friendly. Always come back to this area. The only bad thing is they don’t make Cajun rice anymore so that’s not good.

Honey packets are for biscuits only. You can not get honey packets, even if you ask for them. You have to have a biscuit in your order.

I went during lunch today and the line in the Drive-Thru went very fast, my order was taken quickly, I got “the sandwich” (spicy) and it was hot and tasted great and so where the french fries. I have never had any complaints here at the Maplewood location. Love the Popeyes Spicy sandwich… also the creamy coleslaw is excellent.
