I am a part of French Quarter Seafood Bar and Grill. Im responding to the guy that said they never smile and only offer water. That is not the New Restaurant which is called French Quarter Seafood Bar and Grill. You must be referencing to the old Nicks. We are brand new and just opened

The most racist service I ever had.they treated me and my family like dogs…no better yet a dog would have gotten better treatment. It is sad that in this day and time a place the services the public can treat people that come into thier establishment to spend money with such disrespect. …Never will i ever visit nor will i recommended anyone to eat at Nick’s!!!!

I will miss the staff and of course the best omelets in town. Carol, Abby, Olivia, Noel and Jack made you feel family. I wish you all the best and hope to cross paths again. Another small town institution lost forever. Not lost to changing times…but bad management.

Very friendly staff. Food was as good as any where else we dined in the weeks we were in Florida. Price was great for quantity of food. Will definitely be back every time down from Cleveland!

French Quarter Seafood Restaurant establish your own Google business account and it’s free. I want to see French Quarter Seafood reviews, not Nick’s Restaurant reviews. Nick’s has been closed approximately 2 years ago. I would like to try your food but after reading the comments, I’m not sure about stopping by for dinner.

Sadly, it is no more. An era has ended. In it’s heyday, you couldn’t get a seat without a long wait. Full of horse trainers and employees of the racetrack, full of horse racing pictures. People I talked to complained about the food and needed to be reminded, it was a DINER, it was filling, quick and reasonably priced. If you want gourmet, make a reservation somewhere that you have to wear a jacket. I will miss Nick’s immensely, the cook Jacque, greeted every customer and made sure their order was perfect. Abby, you were a bright spot in the day.

I love this diner. I haven’t been there in several years since I moved from the east coast and was afraid it may have been gone with all the changes Hallandale has been going thru… But thank goodness its still there… Great Food and Great hospitality

Less than average food. Waitress moved slower than a turtle. Corned beef in Reuben sandwich was stringy, like it was the leftovers that couldn’t go on a platter. No whole slices. No pickles brought with sandwiches. Place needs an overhaul. I dont think it has changed since the 70s. Table was dirty when we arrived and we were the only diners.Good for people who don’t cook and dont know the difference between good food and good value. We didn’t pay alot, and we got less than what we paid for. Disappointing.

I give this joint a 4-star review based on and on behalf of my friend Nicky P. from Louisville, Kentucky. Last time he was in town with Coach and them other boys for the Florida Derby I took them here for a lil morning after breakie in hopes it would help them with curing their bourbon flu.

Nick said the OJ at Nick’s is “the best damn OJ” he’d ever had, and not just because of the name of the place happens to be his first name, too.

I have nothing but good things to say about the joint. Inexpensive, consistent, and fabulous portions from my kind of neighborhood greasy spoon. Delicious breakfast is all I’ve ever had here.
Close, convenient, easy parking, and I’ve never had to wait.

Although the food is absolutely delicious and affordable, the servers are always so unpleasant. I’ve been in here several times and is always the same! They do not smile, always just bring water, never offer drinks, never happy! Please, get new servers that want to work!
