Was going to give this place a third strike but I rather not waste my money. First one was a few weeks ago when a worker rang someone out then grabbed chicken tomatoes and corn for my meal with all the same gloves and without using utensils. Second strike was today. The brown must have been cooked for 5 min because it taste like cardboard . Not to mention the protein servings are 3oz….. 3OZ!!! I would have demanded a refund but I took the order to go. So it was a nice “pleasant” surprise when I got home. These franchises are not ran by managers or owners. It’s clear no one is checking on quality. I’ve been to a location in Brewster. Clean as a whistle but my food was ICE cold 2 min after I paid. From the register to the table. So I would NOT recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and usually order the same thing (Baja chicken tacos), but the experience has gotten worse and worse.
Tonight the tacos were genuinely terrible — and the portion of chicken was dramatically smaller than usual (one small scoop total). When I asked about it, the staff member insisted “that’s the correct amount” and then immediately tried to upsell extra protein.
If this is the new portion standard, you should be transparent about it — because it’s not what regular customers expect. Between the declining quality, inconsistency, and that interaction, I won’t be back.

I ordered a regular, adult-sized burrito and this is what I got. My girlfriend and I were both given incredibly small portions and the employee who served us acted as though we were inconveniencing her by being there. I am a frequent customer of Salsa Fresca across their multiple Westchester locations, but I have to say I have been consistently disappointed by the location in Thornwood. Go to any other Salsa Fresca over this one

I’m vegan and I made my own bowl. It came with chips and salsa. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean. The rose hibiscus iced tea was more phenomenal than words can say. I’m definitely going back. It’s like if you took Chipotle and made it really nice and way better!

Great addition at the Columbus Plaza. Service was quick. The area sitting was somewhat clean. Food was delicious and you can customize your order. You can also download the app and collect rewards from it. Catering is also available at salsa fresca.

Would give 0 stars if possible. No cleanliness. Everything seems to be cross contaminated. Food portions are way off than the average which is honestly not the biggest problem- what actually is frustrating is the horrible customer service, and the quality of the food served, even the lettuce is brown and slimey. I waited to write this review after visiting atleast 5-7x. Absolutely gross. Def do not recommend.

I couldn’t think of a worse meal I could have spent 14$ on. Portions were beyond small. Worker filled my bowl like she was taking home whatever was leftover at the end of the day. I’ve been here a few times and was impressed with the portions and thought I could grab a quick bite and have some left over for later, boy was I mistaken. Disappointed is not the word. I likely will never come back.

When I first started going here I noticed that there were reasonable portions given and the food tasted good. But now the food is below the old standards and no longer tastes fresh. In addition the portions are no longer reasonable and when I order chicken it barely filled up a fourth of the bowl on top of the rice. Noticing this, I asked for a little more chicken but was charged for double chicken for what used to be the old portions. Dissapointing.

Keeping in mind that this is fast food, the cafeteria style setup makes ordering and customization easy. The food quality is higher on the fast food scale imo and portions are good and consistent and prices are on par with other fast food locales. Service is always fast and friendly. Dining room is ok. It’s simple and tidy and people eat there frequently but I usually take away.
