Great little spot. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Every time I come to State College I will plan to stop in here for some drinks and hop over to Governors Pub for a shepherds pie!

Nice place. Little bit small. Great for hanging out with friends. Kinda has a dive bar feel. Ordered fries and spinach dip. They were good, but the dip is NOT worth $8.50. It came out in a 3 oz ramekin with chips on the side. Barely even any dip in the cup.

The food is good and the bartender was nice. However, the pulled pork sandwiches took 40 minutes to arrive. If you dont plan on drinking, I would suggest eating next door at the Governer’s Pub since they share the same kitchen.

Being that in Bellefonte, the choices of bars you have which are open past ten pm are extremely limited, the Talleyrand is definitely the best place to hang after everywhere else is closed! Really reasonable prices and local PA beer selection. Not a place for food, though. They have four or five small apps available but nothing really as a meal! Overall not a bad place and I definitely recommend stopping by!

I was invited by two women to participate in a trivia contest at this restaurant. The competition was fun and challenging, but we only placed third. The lady bartender was very accommodating, because I only drank water. Everyone in the tavern was friendly, and I hope I get a chance to participate again.

Nice little bar, seemed to be clean and good bartender. Reasons for 3 stars is their soda machine taste off/flat (a big reason why I dont go there very often) and a few liquors we wanted they did not have if they fix those problems would be a higher rating
