We haven’t been to this hot pot so we decided to give it a try. The entrance is clean and well decorated. They offer cucumber water and have seating to wait. The tables are big and intimate. I love that each seat has its own burner. The portions are just perfect so you do not waste. Everything was brought out quickly once our order was taken. Our waitress was working with a very large group so her availability was limited until they left. We were patient but that table should have had more than one server. I also wish we would not have been seated right beside the kitchen. This took away from the atmosphere a bit. The table was promptly cleared when we had empty dishes. The mixed drink was yummy. The salad bar was a bit of a disappointment. The sauce selection is large but other than that, basic lettuce and some crab salad I believe it was. It was also a bit messy. We definitely left there full and since it is AYCE, you get your moneys worth. Bathrooms were clean and staff was polite. We would go back for sure.

My last dinner being 33 was tasty! Tonight, we had hot pot and Korean BBQ! The only down side was that the hot plate didn’t get as hot as it should have.

My 2 favorites for BBQ were the cumin lamb and spicy beef bulgogi.
For hot pot, I had the miso broth as the base. So good. Does anyone else really like the little sausages? They are so good.
We ate WAY too much. I will be in a food coma for the rest of the night. If you have never tried hot pot and/ or Korean BBQ amd have wanted to try it, this is your push to go do it. You will not be disappointed.

Today was my first visit and I was not disappointed. I was like a little child when I saw the many options to choose from the menu. I will definitely recommend this establishment to all that enjoy Korean BBQ, noodles, rice, seafood, steak, and cooking it yourself at your table. Oh, and it’s all that you can eat! I visited the 757 location in Newport News Virginia, right off Jefferson Ave. Try it. You will be glad you did. The staff is kind and patient. They guided me through the menu options, which are many.

We love this place and are regulars but this time the meat wasn’t as good as it used to be the ribs were very lean and chewy instead of fatty and soft. The table we were at took forever to heat up and the grill was sticking onto the food and it just ruined our appetite. I’m sure that’s hazardous

My daughter and I went here for a girls night out, and we had an amazing time. This wasn’t out 1st time here, my son picked it for his high-school graduation dinner and we had a party of 15! They handled the large party effortlessly.
I would recommend this place for a date or a group. You have a great time talking about all the food, and the atmosphere is really nice. All the staff are friendly and ate quick to serve you… This will stay on my top 5 list for dinning.

Extremely Disappointing Birthday Experience
We chose 757 Hot Pot to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday, and it was by far the worst dining experience we’ve had.
After being seated, it took over an hour to receive our food — at a restaurant where you cook at the table. We were told a party of 20 placed their order before us, yet tables seated at the same time (and even after us) received their food twice before we received ours.
Service was consistently inattentive. Drinks ordered at the bar took over 20 minutes per round while the bartender was on his phone and frequently away from the bar. Our table was largely ignored, and our middle tray was never replaced.
The most disappointing part was how my son’s birthday was handled. Another table next to us received a birthday sign and staff singing. Our server brought my son his dessert with a candle and said he would return with a sign and singers. He never came back. My son ended up blowing out his candle alone after waiting, and the moment was completely missed.
When we finally got the check (after struggling to get attention again), there was only a brief, half-hearted apology.
I paid $230 for a birthday celebration that should have been special, and instead we left feeling overlooked and disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant for special or any other occasion.

The atmosphere was uplifting and fun and bright. The food was literally perfect. It was lots of fun to pick our own food and cook it. I can’t wait to go back. Or you can eat for 2 hours for a great price. Everything is great about this place. SOUP MADE FOR US GLUTEN FREE. WE ORDER GLUTEN-FREE VEGETABLES, NOODLES, MEATS AND FISH.
