Overall – very yummy place to get authentic Thai food at very affordable prices and portions. All of our dishes had us feeling nostalgic because there were certain tastes n smells that reminded us of our childhood. Would recommend any of the dishes we got (captioned in pics). Only thing that was off putting was the decor to me. A little too outdated for my taste in terms of the tables and chairs but def loved all the statues and paintings that displayed Thai culture. Also, apparently has the best pad Thai in the entire Kansas according to my friend lol.
Something to note is that we came right when it was opened so our service was relatively fast (got sat fast but food took a bit to come out)

I ordered the chicken fried rice, which was delicious. But the waiter served my plate with her thumb finger stuck in my food, with how she was holding the plate.
The hallway where the bathroom was located had clutter stacked up against the wall, which takes away from the atmosphere and cleanliness.

My order was not prepared per instructions. I ordered Thai rice which is suppose to have green onions, no green onions. Rice was overcooked. Crab ragoons wrappers tasted stale. This is the second order which has not been up to the usual quality. I decided to give it a try again after the first bad experience. No change and no response from restaurant. Contacted restaurant through several medias, plus phone calls.
I ordered a dinner entree, online, not the lunch, and received the lunch. Was charged the dinner entree price. I use to love this restaurant but its time for a change.

A good authentic Thai restaurant. Had a group of 9 of us and they were able sit us immediately. The server was really nice. Everyone on our group really enjoyed their meal and the portions were generous enough most of us took leftovers. Overall a great experience and I’m sure we will return soon.

I am a huge fan of hole in the wall mom and pops places but this one had me skeptical. I was in a neighborhood I’m not familiar with and it was tucked back in here. That being said the place was busy…service was very quick and they were so polite. The food was really good! I had the Pad kee mao. The portion size was good. I found the noodles to be slightly overcooked but that being said the flavor was really good! I truly enjoyed this dish. We also had the Thai fried rice. It too was seasoned well and came in a huge portion. We will definitely be returning to this establishment!

I ordered the cashew chicken which had little cashews in it. But I get it. That dish had decent flavor but can be forgettable. The fried wontons I got, looked like something from the Dillon’s frozen section. I regret ordering them. I feel bad talking negatively about this place because the people there rely on the income to survive. I just wish flavor would have popped in my mouth, and it didn’t.
Edit. A year later I tried Chiang Mai again, amd I’d have to say it was top notch. They came through. I posted the new pictures.
