Food was amazing, Lobster and Sea Bass were both amazing! Service was excellent. Our waiter Reynaldo was super and helpful. All the staff in fact were amazing and friendly.
It was helpful there was great English to help us; and an English menu too. It takes some of the adventure out of dining out, but that’s just fine.
So good, I think we are going back again, perhaps the fried fish/Sea Bass/Corvina.
Call and they will arrange a taxi!
We found our own; Roy $20 return. Roy was chatty despite our language differences…we made it work.

Worldwide Travelling
Had excellent dinner here. Excellent food (including perfectly crispy Fries), friendly staff. Worth a stop when travelling on the Interamericana or flying via the near Airport.

We had a great experience here! They even had a menu in English that made it easier to order. They also gave great recommendations for food! Our drinks were always filled and all the food was amazing! Would go back again! Would highly recommend the Red Snapper, Salmon Fillet, and Cheesecake!

Came late at night to eat. The staff were all so kind, placed us In a room with AC. They Had menus in both Spanish and English. I ended up having the squid ink Paella, and omg it was so good. I ate almost the whole thing alone; but good enough for 2 people. Rest of fam Had a stake and pizza. A little bit of different types of food for everyone’s taste buds.

Wow, I was very surprised at how amazing this place is. Doesn’t look like much from the road but inside it is a nice quaint place with a great staff that is very service oriented and friendly. The food was exceptionally well for a last minute choice to come and eat while waiting at the airport.
I would highly recommend coming here if you have a flight that’s got a few hours before you depart as it’s easy to get a taxi to get here and everyone is super friendly.

Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Speaks both Spanish & English and has indoor & outdoor seating. This is a neighborhood restaurant but should be in the heart of the city because it could compete with many top star restaurants. All the locals brag about how good it is, so as tourists, we had to go. They were right; it’s exceptional.
Food: hubby loved the paella which was worth the wait because it was one of his best. It’s supposed to be for two people & he ate the whole thing. Plenty of meats, not just rice. I had the prawns which were deliciously cooked in garlic with yuca, cooked the way I like with onions. It was delicious.
Service: People great you at the door & keep you content throughout your stay. Everyone is super friendly, even the guests. If you do not speak Spanish, no worries. There are several that speak English.
Atmosphere: there are indoor, outdoor & even A/C rooms. All is clean as a whistle. The decor is beachy/sea-like theme & even painted with a cool mural. It’s really a great facility.
When we come back to Santa Clara, Rio Hato, we will make another stop at Txoko. Great place.

High recommended! This is the best place in the InterAmerican road. The Sangria, the tiradito, the fried ceviche, the paella, the nice service, everything….. Stopping here is mandatory.
