Spendy for the amount of food, but very delicious! My husband said the combination taco was his favorite with pork belly and spicy shrimp. I had the pork belly burrito, so yummy!

We were impressed! Very attentive service which was appreciated. They give you free chips and salsa which is a big plus since the tacos are pricey. I had the spicy shrimp, Pollo verde, and the quesabirria tacos. All of them were really good, I liked the shrimp the best. Tried the octopus taco and it was okay, but was a little fishy. Tacos are small but they are pretty generous with the meat so they filled us up. The homemade tortillas are fantastic!!! Had a pint of Scrimshaw which was $9 so that’s pretty expensive. Overall we had a good experience and will likely be back!

A fantastic addition to Folsom. The tacos were exceptional, the margaritas were top-notch, and even the chips and salsa impressed. I planned to take a client next door but found Nixtaco instead—and it couldn’t have worked out better. Ely provided fun and excellent service at the bar and made the experience memorable.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for elevated Mexican cuisine and great cocktails. I’ll definitely be back.

This place is incredible. The tacos just simple and delicious. We had the fried chicken, pork belly, short ribs, and queso burria. We also had guac and black refried beans. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This place was amazing! Berlin was so helpful and gave such yummy recommendations. I love both of the choices she suggested. Both Berlin and Jr. were so friendly and got us everything we asked for and needed. Didn’t even have to ask for a refill once. Thank you for making my first Nixtaco experience such a great one.

I’ll start by saying I really like this place. Unfortunately today we had a terrible experience. Service was hands down terrible. I ordered and did not get everything I ordered. Waiter never came to check if our order was correct. I ate what I had and also had to try really hard to get a water refill. When I finally got the guy’s attention he said well that is what I heard. He started to get defensive and argue about what was missing and suggested maybe he’ll order another taco and left. I waited for a while and then asked if the taco was coming only to find out nothing was coming. I really don’t understand how you have a customer with food missing and chose to argue. The food is great but you really need to squash those attitudes in your staff before it affects the business

Great place, my girlfriend enjoyed her shrimp tacos. The salsa was good, I liked the peanut Chipotle interest flavor. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito which tasted like charcoal. There was two lukewarm cheese globs on each end. Very lackluster food, needed acid, needed seasoning, the flat top cook needs training, no verde flavor just dirty flat top taste. We might return, might not. Overall the place was clean, restrooms as well.

Great tacos! It definitely takes some time to pick the right ones. The spicy shrimp tacos were great, they have a non spicy version. The carna asada taco was great, it has caramelized onions on top. The quesabierra taco was good but definitely needed more flavor in the broth.

Are you a fan of cauliflower? It’s such a versatile vegetable. You can add to your tacos. I know, it’s unique and never heard of, right? Nixtaco’s have the best cauliflower tacos and drinks. I wasn’t a fan of their chicken taco. You can mix and match the tacos. I will try other items from the menu. Perfect vibe spot for lunch during summer. Thanks to the server, I’m going back for happy hour. She shared the happy hour deals. How can I miss the good deal.
