We stopped for a late lunch around 1:30pm on a Sunday. They were understaffed so the service was slow, but the food was worth the wait. We had pomegranate cider, supreme pizza, garlic cheese pizza, and onion rings and it was all delicious! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
Just fyi for those with kids there is no kids menu.

Never had a bad meal here, the pizza is incredible and the fries are amazing. All their food is amazing. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. The atmosphere is wonderful and smell of the wood burning oven is pleasant. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and hungry for a good sandwich or a pizza.

Placed an order at 1:30 for a 4:30 pick up. Got there about 4:25, paid for my 2 pizzas and waited. The pizzas didn’t come out by 4:35 and the hostess came over to apologize. By 4:45 my pizzas were finally ready. The ticket on the order said 4:15. One was cold. 6 employees and 1 manager lounging about- no acknowledgment of me standing around waiting. There was one 1 table of customers at the time. The one warm pizza was good, but not worth the wait and hassle. It’ll be awhile before we go back.

Food came out fast. Sandwiches were huge. The homemade bread and pizza were very good. Nice atmosphere. Lots of choices to eat and beer too.

New Year’s Eve and pretty empty. Brick oven pizza was really good with perfect crust and sauce. They have a great beer selection including some less common ones on draft. Service seemed genuinely cheery and responsive. Atmosphere was pleasant enough to come back later even when not in the mood for good pizza.

I’ve driven past this place for years. Decided to try it today for lunch with the elderly mom and elderly aunts. I called ahead and they set us up with the perfect table in a quiet corner. The service was good, the pizza and the brussel sprouts were excellent! All five of us liked our food. One of the best things is the acoustics and there are great. Too many restaurants now have interiors that echo every voice and noise. This was quiet and pleasant. We all agreed we would go back there next time. And the beer was cold.

The dough used for the crust isn’t chewy on the inside and crispy outside. It’s more like the consistency of wonder bread and nothing like a NY style slice. It’s extremely floppy so it’s not easy to eat by hand. The taste is very heavy with the flavor of basil and salty. I’m assuming the “best pizza ever” style reviews are mostly coming from Vermonters that don’t get out of VT much. It’s not that it’s horrible food, but it’s just not following a traditional standard for what makes Pizza good.

We had dinner at The Barnyard this past weekend (8/10/2024). It was pretty quiet when we arrived, got seated right away. The booth we were sat at wasn’t cleaned but we picked off the food bits and checked out the menu. We were going to order the chicken parm sandwich and a pizza but the hand breaded chicken breast was out of stock. So we got a pizza and a poutine. The bartender was super nice, was on the newer side and wasn’t sure how to make a drink. He tried googling a recipe and it worked out OK. He did a nice job. Props for the effort for sure! Food came and it was good. In comparison to other local pizza places, it was good. Didn’t rise above, didn’t sink below. Poutine was good. I had high hopes as the poutine at The Guild was pretty wonderful. This being a guild group eatery, I hoped for the same yumminess. Not quite there but it was still good. Great onion rings on the side. Overall a good experience. I would come back…. Maybe once the chicken parm is back in stock.

Just had their cheese pizza. Taste weird too salty and sour. Tried couple pieces from different edge sof whole pizza same flavor. Crust was good, assuming that all other pizzas will come with the same base pizza wouldn’t be any good.
Order was for outside so not comments about atmosphere.
Service was good for the outside order have no complaints, so limited judgement for it

Great selection of local brews, good wings (although they were a little burnt) , and a tasty turkey sandwich. Service was slow despite there being few people in the restaurant, but still a fun lowkey spot to catch a football game. Certainly would come back. Everyone was friendly- again my only real issue is how understaffed they are
