My favorite place to go for breakfast on the weekends. I LOVE the burritos from Burritos Mariquita! Only $1 and delicious! I would have posted pictures, but I always eat them up really quickly! The swap meet also has Tequino and delicious champurrado.

As a seller not nearly the foot traffic as Tanque Verde. But it’s 95 out and the end of the month. May give it a shot again in October or so.

For anyone who loves flea markets, you will find all kinds of go to items here. Unlike other swapmeets, this one starts early in the morning, and ends around 1pm. Good place to beat the heat and find a bargain. Would have given it 5 stars but there aren’t very many food choices here. Only Mexican food that I saw.

It’s alright. We mainly come here for the walk and for the rare chance something nice pops up for sale. Most of the time it’s the same sellers and it can get pretty boring. I’ve never had any cravings to eat here. Passing by some of the food stands, you can occasionally smell the odor of reused cooking oil.

We found a lot of fun things here. The vendors were great. The market grounds themselves look like its from a third world country. Greeted by a barb wire fence on both sides of the back entry way and thought I may need a shovel in case I got stuck because of the ruts and pots holes in the parking lot and driveway. I also noticed a lack of trash barrels.

Upon my first visit I was surprised to find that about 1/4 of the vendors, are food vendors! There are a variety of foods to choose from, mostly Mexican, not all good. Choose wisely! The merchandise sellers are usually up for bargaining/ haggling and I’ve gotten some nice deals on sweet man-toys. Furthermore, people always seem to be in a great mood as they look for their “diamonds in the rough”; maybe from the live music in the background or the beautiful Tucson weather!!!
