Local bagel house for fresh delicious rolls and bagels at genuinely affordable prices. Their everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was a standout to me. I’m a regular customer for buttered roll with coffee.
Not a café or restaurant. Authentic and clean place.

Firehouse Bagels has potential, but it often misses the mark. I’ve been here a handful of times, and while the service is generally friendly and the menu looks promising, the food is almost always subpar. Bagels can be hit or miss. Sometimes too dense, sometimes not fresh. Sandwiches are okay, but nothing that really stands out or keeps me coming back regularly. It’s convenient if you’re in the area and need a quick bite, but don’t expect anything exceptional.

My bagel was so good. It was enough to fill me up. The staff members were very kind. I had a salted bagel from this store and it was perfection. The diversity of the breakfast meal was amazing. I even found Japanese Cheetos! Overall, I had a great experience and would love to come back next time.

I guess they’ve started selling their bagels in gas stations and 7-11’s now. I usually get a bagel with my coffee at sevs in the morning, and I noticed recently (within the last month or two, that I noticed anyway) that the packaging for the bagels looked different. I didn’t really give it much more than a quick glance until I found the first hair on my bagel… long, black hair… I’m blonde and short haired. Ok, it happens, no big deal. Until I found one on a second bagel the next day, AT A DIFFERENT 7-11! This one was baked in, too. Like, seeds were popping off as I pulled the hair, it was under them. Gross, but maybe bad luck…. then I found another one today, a week after the last one… so that’s 3 out of 8 bagels with long, black, nasty hairs in them. I’m done. No more firehouse bagels for me.

Cool, no nonsense bagel shop, cozy and feels like walking in your grandma’s kitchen. The bagels are akin to the Montreal style bagel minus the wood burning oven. They have a good balance of chewy tenderness and while they do have rolls, eggs and Boars Head products for sandwiches and the like, the bagels are great and deserve to be eaten simply with butter or cream cheese.

I went here for the first time yesterday to pick up breakfast sandwiches for my family. 3 sandwiches: 2- 2 eggs on a bagel with bacon, salt, and pepper, and 1- 2 eggs on a roll with bacon, cheese, and salt and pepper.

How did they screw it up? Let’s talk about it. None of the sandwiches had bacon. None of them had 2 eggs. I paid for 2 eggs on each sandwich and only got 1 egg on each.

Not an auspicious start for a first time visit.
