Le Bouchon French Restaurant in Sathon, Bangkok
Reviews
The food was amazing. We started with fresh oysters as a cold starter and escargot as a hot starter. . both were excellent. For the main course, I ordered the Black Angus MB5 tenderloin and the beef Wellington, and they were absolutely outstanding.
We ended the meal with a delicious soufflé, which was the perfect way to close my first day of the New Year. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic French cuisine and ambiance in Bangkok.
Le Bouchon is an absolute delight—a true French culinary haven in Bangkok with warm, intimate ambiance and fresh, traditional French dishes. Every classic dish shines: divine escargots, silky foie gras, flavorful coq au vin, perfect steak frites and boeuf tartare, and heavenly crème brûlée.
Impeccable service from knowledgeable owners and staff pairs wines flawlessly in the cozy space, with several different different dining sections inside and outside the restaurant – each with their own charm.
A standout for quality and charm—pure 5-star bliss! Must-visit for exceptional French fare.

Portions are generous and the quality is consistently great.

When you walk in, you’re first greeted with amazing services. The the place is old and classics, you immediately fall in love the vibe.
French onion soup is amazing and you must order! The beet salad was pretty good too!
This French restaurant is a true institution. Famed for generations, it has successfully transitioned from its bustling days in Patpong to a more refined, tranquil setting in Sathorn Soi 1. The move to this quiet, upscale neighborhood suits its classic charm perfectly.
I’m happy to report that while the location has changed, the food is as good as it has always been. Every dish is a testament to the restaurant’s legacy, prepared with a level of skill and consistency that is hard to find.
Just as impressive is the service. The staff is attentive and professional without being stuffy. The atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, not at all uptight, which makes for a truly enjoyable dining experience. This restaurant proves that some things, like great food and service, are timeless.
I do enjoy with my dad, which is Salmon, but I try chicken breast, but I think is too dry for me but still OK with the sauce and other components. For the desert, I order chocolate tiramisu. I love it. Oh I forgot for the appetizer my friend and I order smoke duck salad, and Terrain seafood. Both appetizer are good.
After I finish them all, I know that I definitely come here again with other group of friends because I really want them to try the authentic French cuisine.
