To go with family, friends or alone, it is a good option, there is a children’s menu, cocktails, the food to your liking, the attention was fast, the place was clean, tidy, the friendly staff, the manager Annie with a very good attitude, organized and attentive. The person who attended us, Karen, was very friendly and smiling. we will definitely be back. We were around 5, but they open until midnight.

**Cotton & Rye at Leesburg Resort – 4/5 Stars**

I recently dined at Cotton & Rye with my family during our stay at the Leesburg Resort. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and offers a menu filled with classic American dishes with a bit of a twist.

I ordered the **Miso Glazed Salmon** with a side of **Parmesan Fries**, and both were delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked—moist, flaky, and full of flavor thanks to the miso glaze. The Parmesan fries were crispy and generously coated with cheese, making them a perfect pairing with the salmon. I also tried the **Mockapolitan**, a non-alcoholic cocktail that was refreshing and well-balanced.

My family had the **NY Strip Steak** and **Chicken Wings**, and they were very satisfied with their meals as well. The steak was cooked just right, and the wings were crispy and flavorful.

The only downside was the slow service. The meal was leisurely paced, which was a bit frustrating, especially in a resort setting where you expect things to move a bit quicker. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the wait between courses was noticeable.

Overall, Cotton & Rye offers great food, and I enjoyed my meal, but be prepared for a more laid-back dining experience. With some improvements in service speed, this could easily become a top dining spot within the resort.

The food was amazing. The experience was amazing. Service was amazing. 10 stars!!! My husband and I are still raving about our meal & experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant at Lansdowne Resort.

Sorry about the dessert photo. Sometimes I forget to take a picture before diving in.

Cozy, delicious, expensive. The signature chicken pot pie was partly inside-out deconstructed version but damn it was so amazing. This especially drove the 5-star rating. Crab cakes were small but full of big-lump crab, which is hard to find. Wings were fine. Catherine took good care of us. Really nothing to fault here. There are several prominent, big TVs so a bit of a sports bar vibe.

Loved being able to stay at the resort and still have access to great food. The food here was top quality and the drinks equally as good. The staff was very friendly and service was great.

No vegan or vegetarian vhices in main entre. The truffle fries had little or no truffle taste. Vegetarian lentil soup was bland. If you are vegetarian or vegan then stay away.

Sad sad restaurant for a (high end resort) when you first walk in the restaurant there are zero windows and just a few tvs and pool tables. The menu was extremely limited few apps, salads, sandwiches, we went for dinner and had a choice of 4 entrees. The salmon was under cooked supposed to have miso didn’t see or taste it. Turkey club was not a club. Definition of club is 3 layers of bread. What we got was two pieces of untoasted bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon we had to ask for mayo.Plating and presentation was like a home cooked meal no effort put into the food. We stayed multiple nights our goal was to be able to eat meals at the resort. Sadly we had to uber eats and then go out somewhere else. For the standards and label of resort would expect better food selections and an effort put into the food. Hope this review open some eyes and alarms to do better and make it to where people can’t wait to go back. Because as of now we won’t be. Cheers!

Food was okay! I went there one night for drinks and the next night for dinner. The night I went for dinner was a Tuesday night and the service was super slow. The restaurant was a little busy but not packed and I would expect them to have a bit better service. The wine was a bit pricey I felt for the amount served. The crab cake was delicious but I wasn’t a huge fan of the vegetable flat bread or homemade chips. The Mac and cheese was also very tasty! I also liked the root beer float, it was a nice end to the meal.

It’s the hotels casual fare. If your expectations are fine dining you’ll be disappointed, but as far as a calm and relaxing bar with Virginia theming then you’ll have a good time.

Food is generic but consistent (bar foods with occasionally new fare). Staff is attentive since it’s usually calm.

Nice spot to swing by and have lunch. We’ve been coming for 7 years
