We stumbled upon Avalon Diner while on a trip around the Orlando area, and we’re so glad we did. We ordered takeout to save some time, and even though the place was packed, the team handled everything seamlessly. It’s a small, well-utilized space, and they managed to accommodate everyone who walked in — including dogs in the outside seating area, which we loved. The service was friendly, warm, and efficient, and our food was made perfectly.
We ordered French toast, eggs, hash browns, corned beef hash, sausage, and biscuits — and everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.
We highly recommend Avalon Diner if you’re in Winter Garden. We’ll definitely be back when back in the area.

Stopped in for a Sunday morning breakfast, first time here, so we had to try it out. The food was good, but the service was the 5 star mark here. Alexis took care of us and made the time enjoyable. She was quick, super bubbly and polite, plus she has a great sense of humor and a quick wit. If she was not available, a team mate had her back with fresh coffee. We enjoyed the morning treat!

Found this gem in winter garden driving by while working. I decided to take my wife and share our first experience there together. We went on a Sunday morning and there was a waiting line. We signed up and didn’t have to wait long. A larger party had to wait a little longer, but seemed to be seated promptly.
We sat at the bar and we’re waiting on promptly and continuously. We ordered momosa’s which were absolutely fantastic. Our meals came in record time, and we’re actually prepared correctly. By this time, we weren’t surprised when our food arrived that it was delicious. So good in fact that we went back the next week on Saturday to enjoy breakfast again. This has become one of our favorite places to go for breakfast and we drive 40 min to get there.

Wow! It’s rare these days to find a genuinely great breakfast spot, but this is it. I’ve been a couple of times so far, and both times the food was incredible. I got the Chili Omelet today. Amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, service, location, AND the prices are all great.

Burnt coffee, yes it’s a diner, but it should not be hard to brew fresh coffee in the morning.
When we arrived we were told: pick any table open. After we sit, waitress comes to us and says at loud: not this one! Well…then? Started uncomfortable
The wall daily many is not updated daily – it’s only Sunday and Sundays options.
The syrup it’s not syrup…is it that hard to select better quality items? One more dollar per waffles?
I selected a omelette. Borders dry and bottom floating in oil.
It was not a pleasant experience. In our case, we will not return.

Avalon Diner is a small, cozy restaurant. I enjoy trying new places, and this one was a decent experience. The food was okay—the sliced beef they used was new to me, but the flavor was mediocre. However, the hash browns were excellent, and the service was good. I’ll visit again to try other dishes.

3rd time @ Avalon Diner. We’ve found our favorite breakfast spot Each time that we’ve gone, I ate a different omelet each time… the latest was the meat lover’s . I can’t wait to return to try another one. Owners are from my home state (NY). The taste of New York in FL. Love it! Thank you so much

Absolutely fantastic experience!! I went there for a group brunch, we ordered two of the chicken biscuits with gravy. Along with two Philly cheesesteaks. We received our drinks fairly quickly, they got our food out promptly. The chicken was fantastic, an excellent crunch and very juicy on the insides. The biscuit was delicious! The gravy was spot on, really no complaints at all. The waitress was very friendly!!

To me “diner” is synonymous with hot coffee, great simply cooked food and excellent service. Sadly I received none of this at my first (and last) visit. The coffee was lukewarm warm even after I asked for a fresh cup. The eggs were runny, home fries tasted sour and the toast slathered in butter. My friend’s tuna melt was mediocre and her son’s chicken tenders hard and dry. Even the French fries were tasteless. As for service, in spite of the small interior and just a few patrons, I had to get up to get some additional napkins. It appears the restaurant relies on older, local repeat customers. I definitely won’t be back.
