Bumped my rating up to a 4. Stopped in again today, door was fixed, salad was even better and service was great. Let me start with the good. Food, Snarf Salad, was very good, great shredded lettuce mix. Soda fountain drinks are not main stream, no Coke or Pepsi, but the brand they have, diet for me, was very good. Crew fixing the food was awesome but my cashier was a bit tired as he had just worked through a convention lunch rush, I dropped in at 3.
The bad, had to check on my order, the ticket did not make it down to the team prepping the food, caught it quick so not a big deal.
The ugly, the cabinet under the soda machine has a broken door which fell on my leg. No injuries but the guy behind me thought it was hilarious, me, not so much.
That’s it, my honest review, hope it helps.

In town for a concert and stopped by for dinner before hand. They were slammed but seemed to be handling the crowd well. Trying to be a one stop sandwich shop. Breakfast, Espresso, desserts and I went for the special the chicken bacon ranch and it was really good! I recommend checking them out.

We came at an extremely busy time during a marching band competition. The dome had run out of food so we needed a place to eat for dinner. The prime rib sandwich was cooked perfectly given the major rush they were having! % recommend.

We arrived, it was not busy, maybe three people total sitting at tables. Two ladies helped take our highly modified order very nicely. We then sat and about 10 minutes later two men came in and ordered sandwiches. We sat longer. Part of our order was to take a sandwich to my wife’s son at a sports tournament at the convention center before his very soon to come next game, so we needed the simple and plain turkey and cheese sandwich quickly. Then about 15 minutes after that, the two men got their sandwiches. We sat a little longer. After probably close to 30-40 minutes, we asked what was going on with our order for a sub and a salad. They claimed they did not have our order. Apparently, something did not print, and our order was in purgatory cyber space, even though the ladies that took our order were still there, and were well aware of our presence waiting, and there was definitely another person there well aware of our disgust and impatience, but no action was done. When the order was finally done, I was handed the bag with no words. No apology. No Thanks. No “sorry for the inconvenience, here’s a free bag of chips or brownie.” What a mess. Go to Sugarfire across the street or High Point next door.

I got the vegetarian sub & it was one of the best sandwiches of my life- no exaggeration. The wheat bread was perfectly toasted, and they gave me the perfect toppings ratio. The staff were all so sweet & kind. Truly a fun atmosphere that I didn’t expect from a sub shop. Highly recommend!

Not going to lie, Snarf’s was much better than I expected for a first time visit. Yes the reviews are good but that doesn’t always translate to your own experience. The food is good and you won’t be disappointed or hungry. Macaroni salad was just a plus to my terrific Italian sandwich. Facility was a little lackluster and bland but the food shines through!

One of the best sandwiches places in the area. Quality, service and price. They got it all figured out. It’s a great bang for the buck and won’t disappoint you. I have tried pretty much everything here, they are very consistent and similar in quality. Will Def recommend it.

Snarf’s Sandwiches MX in downtown St. Louis offers a fantastic selection of sandwiches that are a cut above your average sub shop. The menu has a wide variety of options, including hot and cold sandwiches, salads, and sides. What sets Snarf’s apart is their use of quality ingredients, from the meats and cheeses to the bread and vegetables. Each sandwich is made to order and is served on fresh-baked bread that is soft and chewy. The bread options include white, wheat, and gluten-free, and there are even options to have your sandwich served as a wrap or salad. The sandwiches are generously stuffed with meats, cheeses, and toppings, and are full of flavor. Overall, Snarf’s Sandwiches MX is a great spot to grab a satisfying and delicious sandwich, whether you’re in a rush for lunch or looking for a relaxed meal.
