pulled pork burger was so-so. it’s drowned in BBQ sauce and pork marinate so you don’t taste anything else. bun was dry.
there were two seats inside the place. (at the time seats outside were already occupied by a group). the staff and his friend scattered their personal belongings all over the table and chairs, then he asked us if we dine in or take away, without any intention to clear up the space for their customers. after a bit of back-and-forth they eventually remove their stuff, but the friend continued to stand next to the chairs and blocked the way. as a customer i don’t feel welcomed at all in a restaurant like this.
The cook called me stupid in Italian for taking the Philly cheese brisket to go instead of eating it there.
The brisket only has some smoked flavor.
Maybe the pulled pork would’ve been better choice but brisket is more difficult so it is a better judge of barbecue master skills.
If you are desperate for non Italian food then come here but keep expectations low.
There was no classic beef Burger, but that is not required, when you taste their smooth brisket burger! The pulled pork burger could have had a bit more supplements, but was also tasty. Their buns and obviously very good self-made sauces were well made and in positive harmony with everything else.

There is not much/comfortable place to sit, but still has its charme, especially sitting in the calm alley next to the canal.
A very special place in venice, that can surprise you as it has a lot more (modern) italian originality that many other restaurands around.
