My friends have been raving about Lum Thai and boyyyyy were they spot on! I surely had to fact check their taste buds and mannnn I texted them asap and told them after 15 years—- “you are now credible” I ordered Padt Thai chicken, with a side of steamed veggies, and roti. I was also able to try their Thai tea, everything was perfect! Their soup appetizer was a delight too! I’m so glad they’re in argyle, so I can fine more often! The owner was such a delight too. She was so cute and friendly! This is surely the best Thai place on this side of town!

Dinner here was a pleasant experience. The waitress was incredibly nice and welcoming, and our food was served quickly with a cheerful attitude and a smile.

The dining area is of good size, with room for wheelchairs and strollers down the aisles (some areas may be a tight fit but I attached some photos of the dining area for reference).

This place was great! My husband and I are in town for work and we came here on a Thursday evening. I’m vegan and when I asked about the pad Thai the server said no problem, they could make it with no egg, no fish sauce, etc. She also said the veggie egg rolls were vegan. My husband ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and beef, and the fried spring rolls with chicken. All of our food was delicious! Everything tastes so fresh. And they added an extra touch with decorative garnishes, down to a heart shaped straw wrapper. I also got a lemonade that was so good. It was maybe the best lemonade I’ve had. 10/10 recommend this place. If we’re ever in Jacksonville again we will be coming back.

First time here and we tried all our favorites: spring rolls, summer rolls, drunken noodles (beef) and panang curry (pork). All of that for $50 (+ tip) was pretty reasonable. The flavor, quantity, and quality of the food was excellent! Great taste and the perfect level of spice that we requested (Thai mild). We will definitely visit again when we are in town!

Ordered spring rolls, dumplings and drunken noodles. This is the best Thai food I’ve had in 30 years. My best friends mother was a fantastic Thai chef and set the bar high. Residents of Jacksonville probably don’t realize how lucky they are to have this place. I would give more than five stars if I could.

The place is nice and quiet which made for a relaxing experience. The lady who served us was really kind and the service was quick.

We ordered the pepper and garlic chicken along with Thai iced tea. Both were good but the chicken could’ve used a bit more seasoning. We went with medium heat but it didn’t have much spice at all. Thankfully the chili oil helped bring the kick I was looking for.

The Thai tea was delicious and the food was nicely presented with some cute little touches.

Overall a good experience and we’d come back.

Lum Thai is one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome. We go there often, and every visit is consistently great. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care, but what really sets this place apart is how incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative of their customers. You can tell this restaurant is run with heart. It’s been one of our favorite spots, and we always leave happy and well fed weather dining in or take out. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business.

The food was amazingly delicious. My wife ate the chicken fried rice and vegetable soup. She loved both of them and the portions were fairly large. I ate the crab ragoon and red curry. The curry was extremely good. We were visit Jacksonville, Florida, but this was one of the better Thai restaurants I have ate at in 34 years of traveling with the military.

My wife and I love Thai food. After looking around for a couple restaurants we decided to go with Lum Thai. We did a great choice. The food was awesome. One of the plates was under portioned but we called them and they replaced it for us right away. Lum Thai fried rice is delicious and the spring rolls were surprisingly good. We’d definitely recommend it, we’ll be back soon!
